I just have a REALLY hard time spending just under $350 for this (which is what it would be for me to buy it from SSC with tax and shipping). I did that for the Iron Patriot but went the less expensive route on the 42.
If my W/L doesn't convert on the Mk 7 BD then odds are it will cost $400+ to secure one. Having this Diecast Mk42 Tony BD version at this price will feel like a good deal to me then :lol

These are so good I felt compelled to post them again :panic:

I used to be in agreement with the people who would ***** about HT releasing so many IM figures while the rest of their catalogue would get delayed.

I now have 3 IM figs pre ordered. Once I saw the in person pics I caved. the XLII looks absolutely incredible.

If you cant beat em, join em!

I have this and Iron Patriot pre-ordered with a really nice coupon on both. I was gonna cave in a get a Tony Stark or Mechanic figure but I may not since I still have the Mk7 head sculpt to bash. Plus I wanna focus my collection around the Nolan Batman line with Cap/Iron Man/Robocop/T2/Superman figures being there on the side. But I am dangerously close to biting on the Mechanic, even friggin Trevor! :gah:

:welcome1:

This is the greatest action figure line in history for me.Nothing comes close!!(Although an '89 Batsuit environment and a '89 1/6 Batwing would help...)

Are there any pics of this armor on display with out the faceplateless RDJ head and not battle damaged?

I guess we'll have to see how it's connected to the body to determine whether the Mechanic head can fit on it or not. Either way if not, I'm sure someone will mod it so it does...

So sick of seeing that same pose with the battle damage parts in every exhibition. Change it up HT!!!
