...Hulk looks awesome, But having exposed joints on his knees, ankles and wrists, and shoulders , but not his elbows makes him look wonky to me...

Yes, I agree. Even if the knees are partially covered, it still means that the ankles, wrists and shoulders are still openly exposed, so it makes the concealed elbows a bit redundant.

Still on my PO list though (I know..."Sucker!").

You guys want to cancel and go with this?

Firstly....

Nah, I think they mean the PF which was brought along with help from Legacy Effects. It is damn good! Too damn good!:cuss

And secondly...I don't want to cancel, even if I could afford the Legacy maquette, I could probably still only get one and in this case, I'd rather the figure which has posability and options for me, plus I'm hoping for NECA to do Hulk in their 1/4 scale line, which would give me a really large scale Hulk.

NECA just recently released pics of their finished Cpt. America and the Hulk is mentioned and is in the works. I just hope NECA makes the Hulk in scale which means he'll be almost 30" tall!!! :horror

I'm confused, with all this talk of Neca's 1/4 scale and Sideshow's Legacy statue are people really suggesting Hot Toys version is too small? :dunno

No, just Hulk fans excited about all the awesome Avengers Hulks being made.

I can't speak for others but for me, Avengers has been very exciting for Hulk merchandise, I love the movie Hulks, well at least 2008 and Avengers Hulk, but with the 2003 and 2008 Hulks, no one ever really made authentic figures or other collectibles that looked just like the screen design, but with Avengers, Hasbro, Diamond Select, Sideshow, Hot Toys and now possibly NECA, are making very nice, authentic pieces and it's very exciting.

And a character that is well deserved to have the lime light now.

It could be a personal bias as Hulk's my favorite comic book character, but I feel like with movies, collectibles, the works, Hulk is an under-produced character compared to others who are big names in the Marvel universe. I realize his size causes issues, but I would think there's fan support.

I'm hoping that Banner is not only a reflection of cashing in on Avengers, but perhaps seeing value in Hulk and perhaps lead to a 2008 Hulk and maybe even a Norton Banner.

Yeah he is the "under-produced" character of the Big 4, which is sad, because he is my favorite Avenger by far. Ive been a fan of the Hulk since I was literraly in a high chair. But it is nice to see some good quality collectibles coming for him. The Toybiz Hulk figures were good at the time. The Marvel Select aint bad either, but Im figuring this HT version will be teh definitive Hulk collectible in my collection.

If I could afford the SS Maquette I would, but money and space prevent that from reaching my house. :lol

Maybe if there werent so many HT that I want....:thud:

HT Hulk will definitely be the highlight in my Hulk collection, the quality, the detail, everything about is is the peak of what I could want.

Wow! There's a ton of love for the Hulk here! :yess:

He's always been my favorite character since the 70's comics and TV series! I'm so happy they finally got it right for him on the big screen! Now I can look forward to plenty of Hulk goodness in the years to come too! The HT Hulk will be the grail of my collection when he finally gets here! Hulk is a SMASH!!! :clap

I don't know guys. I think the definitive Hulk will be the NECA one. I just bought my first Predator 1/4 figure and my jaw dropped. I knew they were good, but not that good. The Captain America looks every bit as good as the helmeted HT one to me. With a Hulk coming in at 25" or so from NECA, with good poseability, plus it will be about $200 cheaper, I will go with NECA on this......1/4 Hulk Maquette from SS and Legacy notwithstanding.

I am strictly talking about poseable figure here.

Is this the word on the street, March? Haven't followed this thread as much as I should have.:slap

That was the first estimate. We probably won't know how far back he'll be bumped until late February.
