Well if you are also getting Loki, here is an interesting alternative idea for a Banner pose. ;)

Great idea! Hopefully he'll come with a set of hands for holding something like the sceptre.

I seriously doubt it, everything else has been delayed. I'm not expecting the big guy before June.

I really hope that isn't the case, but 2013 has started off as a VERY expensive year for me. So I guess the extra time is a good thing for my budget.

I'm leaning towards canceling this guy. Even if they push him back I want to focus on other lines. I have the Mark VII and Loki coming though.

Could it be that you're trying to focus on that... ummm, uhhh... you know... that franchise where there's a small guy...

...and something about a wedding ring, I think. :panic:

The sort of did something similar with the Marcus Wright figure. With some success. The issue was that the elbow joint was weak and could easily break with lateral force placed on that joint. I think for asthetics that they should chance this system instead of 'switch out' arms, those would be too limited IMO.

... an extra Banner HS would be aces

I think you're misunderstanding my suggestion. I'm saying include BOTH.

Keep the skin covered arms. They might work really well. they might tear and rot really fast. we don't know yet.

BUT ALSO have a set of arms that swap at the shoulder, completely replacing the covered arms with a "More Traditional" Jointed arms similar to the arms on the recent predator, and hawkeye figures.

Hulk looks awesome, But having exposed joints on his knees, ankles and wrists, and shoulders , but not his elbows makes him look wonky to me.

That, and Rot will make him look like a zombie, if it sets in :(

I'll most likely cancel as well but that's only cuz I want the Legacy Hulk more.

Given the option, I'd go for that one too, that's a damn fine piece, and having it be based on the actual film maquette and not just some random sculpture makes it all the more meaningful.

Yup, precisely. Plus the sheer size of this thing also makes more sense over the figure.

Well I'm always up for more options, as cool as the statue pose is, I coudl see myself possibly wishing to be able to mix it up like a figure allows, and it remains to be seen how the Sideshow paint job comes out, at least with HT you kind of know what you'll get.

The biggest thing to me, the statue will never break down unless you do something destructive to it, where the materials used on this figure could break down over time and leave you emtpy handed.

I was never big on posing my figures so it could go either way with me. The presence of a well done statue is > most figures. Tbh if the Legacy Hulk came with sculpted pants i'd never have ordered. I think it gives the feel of an oversized action figure. Also it'll always be a gamble with any figure containing rubber material. Especially with HT's. So it can be a tough decision.

You guys want to cancel and go with this?

I think I'll take my chances with HT's rubber arms. The Legacy version just doesn't do anything for me.... :(
