so they all need to have the exact same stuff? someone hurry up and give hulk the rest of his outfit and all of the weapons he uses!....oh, wait...

People complain about the price of a figure but also want it to come with everything...

I'm not really complaining about the price and not saying that they all have to come with the same stuff but when compared to some of their other figures he should have come with a little more than just an extra pair of hands. Even a display stand just to match the other Avengers would be nice. And they still may include that who knows, but look at all the stuff that Luke DX came with. I know that it was a DX but it's the same price if not cheaper that the Hulk and that comes with 2 figures and a butt load of accessories and 2 bases. I'm not saying Hulk has much in the ways of accessories or items but an extra head sculpt or 2 wouldn't have really jacked up the price. Despite how much more material they used to make him. Because if they can make a DX Luke for that price that comes with 2 complete figures, they could have had Hulk with a couple things.

You also have to consider that the hulk is an entirely new sculpt from the ground up. On top of that, almost his entire body requires paint. Figures like Bespin Luke have head sculpts and some clothes but everything else is cookie cutter. Minimal expenses with these regular figures. Hulk on the other hand is all sculpt and paint, the two most expensive parts of all these figures, not to mention his sheer size.

I've sent emails to HT about a 2nd headsculpt, so they are definitely aware.

I think the problem is, that they were so determined to get the 299 price, that everything else got sacrificed. it was the lowest they could charge to get the figure in a box and out the door. They were afraid to risk a higher price.

I think our best chance is the Bruce Banner figure. If it was basically a 'Booster pack' with a standard figure and then some accessories intended for Hulk, an environment base, hands, and extra headsculpt, that'd be nice. Banner didn't really have a lot of accessories. I know he picks up the scepter but Loki already has that so its covered. I don't need 'mid transformation' Banner. I think he only needs one extra hand to hold his glasses maybe perhaps a second costume.

They could also throw in the other Hulk pants

Btw, update on my TIH 2008 maquette: ended up spending most of the clay on this single Hulk, and not sure if I'll bother doing the others. I will post progress pics soon.

Here's hoping that Banner comes with a few Hulk extras to make him more desireable!

Yep, that figure was basically a Sarah Conner with a different head sculpt (rotted hair), metal plates for the metal splashes, and a (Robert Patrick) T-1000 head with the doughnut hole.
