Cool pics. The only bad thing I see is the way the crook of the arm looks when its bent. Still much love for this release. Can't wait. My last flex comes out on July 5th. Woo hoo!

Yeah, that's the only negative I see as well.

But even then in certain angles it folds into a position that looks natural.

I think it looks awesome but I would love to see his shoulders tucked into the torso more.

This is really impressive by size and in combination with an "Avengers Assembled" set up. But what really is something I find hard to accept for such an expensive collectible is the joints.

In comparison with the "Iron Monger" it becomes even more obvious, that the Monger is a very sophisticated piece whereas the Hulk design is rather "simple". (No offense)

You know what would be awesome next to the Hulk besides the Iron Monger? a HulkBuster Iron Man!!!

The neck, wrist, and ankle joints were all designed to be hidden when looking straight-on, and I am fine with that. I won't be posing Hulk with a view from the back or side.

The shoulder and knee joints, while slightly distracting, are totally expected in a release like this and very easy for me to overlook.

On the bent arm, wouldn't it have been cool to have his bicep get bigger. Just like the Mattel Big Jim doll from the 70'S. That would have been so freaking sweet.

:exactly: An awful lot of nitpicking on back and side shots. Is this how some people actually plan on posing him? :slap

Not sure if nitpicking is the right word for this.
Always fascinating to see that whenever some is not totally agreeing with everything on a premium price figure that you will receive this :slap as a feedback.

I don't care how many times i see pictures of Monger, that piece has got to be Hot Toys finest. I own one and I'm
In awe every single time I turn on his lights. Just an amazing piece that unfortunately for those who happen to like Hulk, overshadows him on those pictures in every respect, comic icon or not.
I really have high hopes for Hot Toys next try on Hulk.

Its so funny because Hulk has less visible joints than Monger. Monger is all Joints. I mean he has visible joints where there shouldn't even be any !:lol

Obviously Hulk can be improved, I look forward to it. In fact I hope Hulk becomes the next Joker/Ironman where HT continually updates it over and over until its perfect. "Oh great another Hulk, what is this, the 5th one?" "Pants by Kato! :panic: "

Enterbay did this with GOD Bruce Lee and there were a lot of reports of the arm tearing/breaking down.

One is a robot and one is a humanoid. Of course it's easier to make a robot figure.

You better mind your words, otherwise you'll be called a whiner and quite possibly a troll too. :)
It's just funny, I really don't get when people tell me "go buy a statue then". I'm not in the market for a Hulk statue, I'm in the market for a 1/6, $300 high end hulk collectible that I was more than happy to shell the money for.
This is the reason HT does what it does, people would just buy whatever they put out regardless of shortcomings. Another great example:"why not display your other HT figures without clothing, joints much? What the hell? Why on earth would I do that? I do own bane, and I think he looks badass with the coat on. Will I display it without it? Absolutely not, but then again he was not priced at $300.
How would you do it? is another question people ask.. Hell if I know, I'm not a sculptor. I'm just a very disappointed customer who is passing on this glorified $300 Kenner figure.

interesting comment,

Are those who buy anything in 1/6 of Hot Toys, and others who demand figures, with KING LEONIDAS quality, enhanced by the development of new technologies.

The big problem is hot toys release anything, and Sold Out. So I doubt that will improve.

The development process of HOT TOYS is not going to evolve. Until there is a competitor, that drive new standards.

meh...the only thing that bothers me is the shoulders. not because there is a gap there, but because of how unnatural it looks when you lift the arms passed 45 degrees, that is more to do with the sculpt then anything.

nothing to get upset over...it is what it is.

You honestly think HT ( and most of 1/6 companies ) haven't evolved and improved?
