Yeah, I get what you're saying. Who knows.. Maybe they wanted to add a little twist to it to keep it from being compared to a standard toy. I want know why we aren't getting a Banner. Maybe Ruffalo didn't want them to make one? All I know is that this beast is gonna look fantastic with the rest of the team on my shelf. Woo woo

Same reason we dont have a Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne...initially people are more interested in the super hero..not the alter ego.

HT has also said they tend to steer clear of ordinary guys for figures. Inclusion of a Banner would easily drive this to $500+, when it's already somewhate a hard sell at its current price. Alone, there's no way to do Banner and make it an interesting figure from their perspective. Look at the Nolan Batman figures for a great example, Gordon is in 3 movies, fan favorite, but HT would only release him with SWAT gear and weapons from a short bit in the series because it made him more interesting. Ruffalo would just be a guy in ordinary clothes, people aren't like to buy him. At best, maybe, inclusion of a Banner portrait and people can buy bodies and make their own figures.

He gets the gun, sad as that is, I'm sure that makes a difference, and it's probably a Hot Toys fan wish as much as anything, Ruffalo's only had one film to make a mark and not that much screen time. I love Avengers Hulk, but there wasn't enough Banner screen time for me to form an opinion of Ruffalo, I didn't think him bad or great, he worked. He needs a full Hulk movie.

"One (1) newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs"

Surely it's newsworthy to have rolling eyeballs on an MMS figure. Think of the implication that has on future MMS releases!

Well he's expensive enough, so it might not mean anything.

I don't read anything into it for the future of MMS, I think it's more that, his head is so much larger than a standard 1/6 figure and there's so little to give him for accessories, they had to do something to sweeten the package.

Can't agree more. This figure will most likely do only static poses. At the very least we can do some action eye movement...
