I don't read anything into it for the future of MMS, I think it's more that, his head is so much larger than a standard 1/6 figure and there's so little to give him for accessories, they had to do something to sweeten the package.

One thing it does suggest is that. . ."DX" really doesn't mean anything anymore. They've done figures without the special stand, figures that weren't previously released, figures with less than you get with MMS releases. . .seems an almost pointless categorization in a practical sense. Of course, they'll still use it to make figures seem more "special" than they actually are, and as a means to jack up the price I'm sure.

It's kinda scary that I actually remember seeing this toy on shelves at Toys R Us several decades ago.

This was when Toys R Us had rainbow styled walls and brown roofs and Reagan was president. Damn, I'm old.

I thik this guy looks great! There is definetley a great likeness, but the pants could be just a little longer.
Overall, great figure.

One of my most anticipated for 2013 thus far as well.....I hope he is released within a decent time span.

I think he looks great, the only issues I have with the figure is the choice for the arms, with a shoulder joint like he has, why not just do a jointed arm like the muscle bodies, more range, material that has no risk of breaking down, better for everyone, and clearly the knees aren't hidden. Portrait and the paint are particularly amazing, they really did and awesome job.

I can't wait to see someone bash together a Maestro Hulk surrounded by superhero/villain trophies. That would be an awesome display.

I would have preferred a second head sculpt with either an roaring or neutral expression.
