Great line up! I'm having a flashback to my high school days with the Darth Vader Unleashed from Hasbro, the pose and base were very similar.

I'm doing my own top 3 in 1:4. My personal "holy trinity" is Batman (no specific iteration), T2 T-800, and ESB/ROTJ Vader. I already have the Enterbay Begins Batman and EB BD T-800. With the 1:4 Vader from HT next year the trinity will be complete!

Top 5 favorite Movie/Figure 9CD40B19-160E-46E8-893E-213DD69A091C.jpg are esb Yoda, esb Darth Vader, Snowtrooper, esb Fett & Hoth Leía. Since no other figures in the collection come from a movie as good as the Empire Strikes Back.

Is anyone confident enough to sand down that widow's peak and paint it over again or is it not that bad in person?

Keeps bugging me... :panic:

Widows peak the least I notice in my blown up photos haha, definitely not as noticeable in person or regular lighting. Looks much better in person.

Yeah. My favourite figures are totally influenced by their film/character appearance as well as likeness. Then again I'm very specific about what figures I buy so I'm almost entirely ESB/ROTJ with my figure wants. ROTJ is just Biker Scout, Luke Jedi, Boba Fett, TIE Fighter Pilot and DS Gunner (I know the last two can technically be ANH). Almost everything else I want is specifically ESB (Luke Snowspeeder, Boba Fett, Vader, Hoth Leia etc) or can be attributed to that like R2, C3PO and Chewie.

Id simply have to go with my top five film chracters. For me it would be Vader, Predator, Robocop, and Terminator. That fifth ones kind of difficult. Riggs, McClane, Beetlejuice? Might have to rotate that one. lol

I just thought the same thing Lolol . I wish I had that much room and space . Awesome collection and man cave .
Must be a bith to dust though.
Actually, since moving in in March I have not had to dust yet. But it's going to be a lot better than before. 100% of my collection was not behind glass before.
Off topic, but that looks bad ***. I like the electrical effects.
Yeah, that effect makes the figure really pop. Whose electricity is that? Electro?
That’s what I was wondering as well.
Those electric effects were from a Star Wars Unleashed Emperor Palpatine. I cut them off his electric hands.
Amazing setup and collection!!!
Very Classy display. I really like the stand with Indy. I would have to add Robocop to that line up. Great choice on all of them though because the movies and figures are awesome.
RoboCop is in my Top 10!
TOP 5 is really surprisingly tough. Many great movies/characters are going to get left out. I wouldn't even know where to begin.

I have a Top 3...

Darth Vader
Indiana Jones
James Bond

It's picking 2 more that's impossible for me... Quint from "Jaws" would make spot 4 if there was a figure.

But then who? Keaton Batman? Or Nicholson Joker? McClane... the Alien.... Terminator.... Luke or Han Solo.... Jack Sparrow... there's just so many.
Gandalf the Grey just misses my top 5.
Reeve Superman? I think I’d go with him over a Keaton Batman or Nicholson Joker.
Reeve and Keaton Batman are in my top 20 for sure.
I definitely wouldn't have Sparrow in there, but that's just me.
To each their own.
But that's the beauty -- everyone's would be unique. Mostly anyway.

It's that odd 5th figure that most will vary on. And that's the fun part.
^^^Exactly.
There's that too: do you choose based on favorite character/film... or on best realized figure?

Sparrow wouldn't crack my Top 5 as far as character/movies go, but he'd definitely be in if basing solely on exceptional figures.
I'm listing favorite characters. Not figure itself. I have other favorite figures in the collection.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I appreciate it! Love hearing other people's top five, ten etc list of favorite characters.

My Big 5 would be:

Raiders Indiana Jones (custom)
Robocop
Luke Skywalker (Snowspeeder outfit)
Predator (87/Classic)
Conan the Destroyer (custom)

All five just happen to be '80s classics too; the greatest decade EVER!!! :yess:

Top 1/6 overlapping with film and iconic characters? I think I have a Top 4...

ESB Darth Vader
GoD Bruce Lee
Returns Batman
Diecast Mark IV Iron Man (I know, not yet released, but I have the VI and will likely give the top spot to the IV as its colour scheme is more classical)

The 5th spot is too contentious for me to pick one. ANH Leia? CW Black Widow? Probe Droid? DX07? Those 4 come to mind for different reasons and that's just off the top of my head.

Plus I want to pick something other than Star Wars for that slot. I want to throw a Bond figure in there but without having seen the BCS in-hand, not sure I like the production figure enough. I could go on through different films and figures that haven't even been made. Top 5 is tough.

But this ESB Vader was a no-brainer for me. It's been a while since I had this kind of excitement for an acquisition. It just feels right.

Yup, he's awesome!

Used my phone’s camera but finally put all of the batteries in... I think he’s fantastic, inaccuracies aside.

Nice shots:clap...looks great with the snowies....and the mask looks better when viewed from lower angles.

hey did you guys unbuckle the belt to adjust the inner robe? One side of mine is pretty pinched up. Not sure how to approach it and not break or stretch anything.

I wonder how soon HT will preview the ROTJ Vader version seen in the Luke Jedi preview pics (that one had the ROTJ chestbox, not the ESB one)?

The three nitpicks I have with this ESB helmet so far are: teeth not angled back enough (seen in pic below vs a screen-used helmet on right,) the mouth triangle being a touch too big/vertically tall (and nose being a bit small vertically,) and the face being a bit flat from the side view. Overall though, this feels like an improvement over the ANH/RO sculpt, especially from the straight-on front view, where in some pics it looks very close to spot-on.

Top 5 for me is pretty easy, though it’s not all 1/6. These aren’t necessarily the top five collectibles or even characters in my actual collection, but the single most iconic or influential character, in large action figure (or similar) form, to represent a film or franchise if I were to DRAMATICALLY reduce my collection to just 5 figures, and only one figure allowed per film/franchise.

1. Darth Vader (HT ESB for now, but a really good ANH could do too)
2. Godzilla 1984 (X-plus 30cm figure. Runner up would be a really nice 1964 Godzilla)
3. Indiana Jones (SS ROTLA w/repainted head would be my choice. Hope one day to get mine repainted)
4. Batman 1989 (NECA 1/4, no question.)
5. T. Rex from Jurassic Park (don’t have a specific collectible in mind, but something of similar size to the others mentiond. This is actually the one thing listed I DONT have. I don’t have any JP stuff in my collection right now.)

That was fun.

Back on topic, man all these new pictures are making me wish BBTS would hurry up and get their shipment!

I gotta say, all these pics and reviews are really making me want an ESB Vader now... just not this one unfortunately. As hard as I try, I can't seem to get used to the long face on this. Guess I'm just too nitpicky for my own good. :(

from a straight on view point..it all looks off..

:lol Already posted on this, straight on its lens distortion galore. I'd have to say the promo pics is what looks closest to what the figure actually looks like in hand

I'm in the same boat.

The biggest draw for me (and I suppose many others) to this one was that it was supposed to be representative of the ESB Vader but I really do think they've missed the mark on this one which is a shame. Maybe further down the line when I'm stable enough to be a perfectionist. I guess it's also sort of a blessing in disguise considering that now I'll have more space for my ESB shelf (fingers crossed a Lando is announced sooner or later before I cave).

That being said, more power to those who are enjoying/will enjoy the figure soon.
