I didn't say anything personal. It's just you have this tendency of being full of it and, in the past, Johnny boy was quick to believe your misinformation. Not. Any. More. Now excuse me while you ask me to give you specific examples of this misinformation to prove me wrong and I disappear out of the thread for a week so I don't look like the fraud I am.

Now, back to Iron Man, Hot Toys best seller. These variants and redos are like genital herpes, they just don't go away! How obnoxious that we'll probably see a Spider-Man: Homecoming Iron Man in the not too distant future. If there was ever a worn out and tired character, it would be Iron Man.

Sorry mate but iron man isn't worn out and tired. A lot more people actually collect just iron man than any other figure. I'm glad for the new suits. Personally think they are great.

I'm getting tired of seeing why people look at an iron man thread in a forum and then complain there's to much iron man. I think there are too much of a lot of things but I don't look for the thread just to complain. That seems dumb to me.

Why can't the complainers understand that people obviously like collecting certain figures etc. they sell. If they didn't then companies wouldn't produce them.

Just plain weird!

How do you guys know if this is even a 2.0? Maybe Hot toys just unearthed some dead stock, and they are crapping them out to promote the opening of their new store. I really want a diecast 2.0, but the picture looks identical to the old one.

I don't care so much about it being another iron man. I care that their re releasing the same suit. I know it's a business and what not but it doesn't make it special anymore. This, the new Midas and the captain America promo is almost like a joke now.

Not sure if it's 100% accurate but it was said that electroplated Midas will NEVER be sold outside China. Still, I never thought HT would ever make an updated version of a previous Exclusive, be it for regular or another Exclusive release.

I'm not taking shots but it's expected for you to be bullish with your opinions on the board. People can have opinions, but you have this very strong steamroller way of speaking here. Also, none of your news for Alien day panned out so don't act like your insider info is genuine. If it were you wouldn't be acting like Deep Throat, you would share it. People would like you a lot more around here.

I actually really like the way that he has a "steamroller way of speaking". It's refreshing that he doesn't dance around people like we're fragile china dolls, lol. Besides, if you can't take the heat then RUN THE HELL OUT OF THE BURNING BUILDING!

So they didn't reveal the approved Riley figure? They didn't have the power loader? Odd, given I saw them.

I said to you I don't like to share things I don't have better info about because people take any rumor and when it doesn't come thru they act like I lied, and the same reason why hot toys has cut way back on their interviews. Did I not tell you this? And did you not continue to ask for info? Your above response is exactly why I said I didn't like to do that. It wasn't about being secretive, it's about this type of stuff.

And sure, I am pretty vocal with my opinions. But if someone likes me or not here has little to do with how I say something and more about what I say. People don't like to be told they are wrong, and no matter how it's done they get defensive and often attack the person and not the message. In the last few posts there are two people (you and Difablo) bringing making personal statements about me when I had not said anything. You brought my name up, and I had said nothing. He chimed in for whatever reason.

As for acting like deep throat...i don't even know what that means. Just because I didn't give you every answer you asked for doesn't mean I'm hiding anything or whatever.

As for the other persons comment...just because things don't always come through in the time I've heard, or exactly like I've heard doesn't mean I'm not getting the info. Stuff happens. Not even hot toys is right all the time with their own public statements from Howard. I've never said I have the definitive info about how things play out and I've been clear that until hot toys officially announces a product for sale that it's all to be viewed as speculation and rumors.

If they did straight yellow comic colors like that Cobaby, I would buy the **** out of that Mark IV and toss my Mark VII in the trash.

I'd love some Hot Toys-quality comic Iron Man armours.

Also typical that this gets announced literally two weeks after I picked up the original Mk IV release MISB Thankfully I got it for a bargain price and I'm sure getting this version will require jumping through some serious hoops for anyone who doesn't live in Shanghai, so I think I'm good.

Very happy for everyone who wants a Mk IV and haven't yet found the original for a reasonable price, though.

The only thing I don't like about the Marks 2-6 are the repulsor palms. It wasn't until Mk VII that they started with the 90 degree wrist for proper repulsor poses. Before that they just looked weird. With the release of the DC Mk III, they included angled wrists. I hope all new releases of older figures include this update. It's also an easy way to tell generations (or iterations) of releases apart from one another.

Very valid point! It's funny because the reason that HT included repulsor hands in the "accessories kit" was specifically for the Mk. VI. It was only meant for the Mk. VI since the wrist guards were able to move because they had those "one off" lasers.

I know. I was kind of bothered by that because, at the time, I didn't have a Mk VI. I think it was smart of them to do so though because it was the previous release. (VI) Nice was to update a different figure.

I just hope Sideshow eill carry these re-release as of now it is 50-50 , i really want a diecast old armor but if this is the best we can get then atleast i hope they fix the color fadinh issue.

I'm hoping this gets a wide-release via Sideshow. I'd love a Mach IV but I'm not about to buy one on the secondary market for the stupid price it's demanding these days. Honestly Mach IV and VI are the only two main movie armors that have been released that I'm missing. I skip all the secondary armors, but do try and grab at least the suit he wears most in each film. I missed the IV the first time around as I had not started collecting yet when he released and when it came down to dropping a lot of money on Ebay for one, I chose to get the original plastic Mach III instead. I have been hoping for a re-release of the IV and VI for years and would scoop up both in a heartbeat should they get put up for preorder.

I'll be following this but if it's exactly the same i can't get it. And there's no way I'll sell my Mark 4, it's the very first Hot Toy I ever got.

I really hope this ends up being a true remake, since there is plenty of room for improvement from the original. If it ends up being just a simple re-release of the original figure, then I will definitely pass on this one and keep the original one.
