People complained about the PERs system and then they started using removable eye slots on select figures. Now, they seem to be trying to compromise, when the latter isn't an option, by giving us sculpts that aren't deer in the headlights, and yet people still aren't happy.

Frankly, I think it looks damn good and I'd gladly display the head on a spare body, if I wasn't already having to thin the collection.

His suit will probably change during Infinity War part 1. At the end or just briefly. I'd think anything after Infinity War would definitely see alterations.

I mean, this is Disney and Marvel. They've gotta sell toys. With as many variations as the initial Avengers team has had... it's kind of expected. Not even going to get into Iron Man. :lol

This is assuming Sony doesn't have some kind of stipulation in their contract prohibiting drastic changes to the suit between films.

Anyone know how long they're keeping this costume for in the MCU?

Well, we do see the Mk III at the end of this film. I can't imagine they'd go thru all of the time and effort into designing that costume for a few seconds of screen time. I bet that's the next suit he wears. Too bad since its kind of crappy. Too much of Stark's influence on it. I wish they could get something close to the Amazing Spider-man 2 outfit. That thing was a nearly flawless comic book outfit. If they could combine this suit's eyes and classic back spider emblem with the rest of the ASM2 suit they'd have a great suit.

It is Marvel, screen time does not mean much. They redesigned the Scarlet Witch outfit at the end of AoU for just a few seconds and dozens of IM suits for a second or so of screen time. so I would bet he does not use that mk III suit.

I really hope they don't use that suit. It's not bad, but it's not as good as the one he has now. It looks too video gamey and busy.

I saw he wore ear bud headphones a few time...... don't recall him wearing those large earphones

Loved the movie... it's up there with Winter Soldier in my opinion

Ditto. My MCU top three was Winter Soldier, followed by IM1, followed by Avengers Assemble but this Spidey has just replaced AA at number three.

In my heart of hearts, I wasn't entirely convinced by Holland, or the CGI Spidey action, in CA:CW.

No such concerns watching Homecoming. Holland has genuine charm and you can feel the youthful exuberance just jumping off the guy, while his small, gymnastic frame makes the wall-crawling action believable for the very first time.

I also loved the feeling of being in a living breathing city, rather than a static set piece put there just to be smashed up.

The third act showdown was a bit underwhelming, feeling more like the usual sound and fury and crying out for some of Sam Raimi's visual dynamism.

However, this can't take away from the film's fundamental triumph - bringing a unique, authentic perspective to the MCU with Spidey's first foray, along with a Johnny Ramone blast of youthful excitement.

:)

Saw the movie today and it was awesome. But the one thing that has been bothering me about this figure is how the suit goes all the way up his neck. In the movie, his suit only goes about 1/4 of the way up his neck with the other 3/4 still exposed. They should've gone with a seamless neck and headsculpt. They knocked the prototype of TH out of the park but I'll either just go with the homemade suit and wait for the Infinity War version, or I'll just not use the headsculpt. Decisions, decisions...

Or you can buy this version, save the head of a kitbashed stripped of spidysuit walk of shame version

Just got back from seeing the film. It's going to take another viewing or two to settle, but it was a solid, entertaining flick. Especially considering how many times I've seen Spidey on-screen now, I think it's great that they were able to make it feel fresh.

I liked the portrayal of the city as someone else said, and Keaton's an awesome villain.

Marvel (surprise, surprise) really *does* know what they're doing with this character. If I hadn't been big on the film I would have been happy to keep this figure anyway, but given this was a great Marvel outing, it makes it even better.

Saw the movie Saturday and thought it was great so I just ordered the deluxe version of the figure. I wanted to make sure I liked the movie first, I already have the HT Rami Spiderman 3 figure and I love it, but this new Spidey fits into the MCU so perfectly I wanted to have this representation to go with my other MCU figures. I also think I am going to kit bash a Peter Parker using the head sculpt, sweat shirt and jacket plus whatever 1/6 jeans, t shirt and sneakers I can find; hopefully I will be able to find an appropriate size body.

I'm glad someone else thinks like this. First viewing of any MCU film for me is an uncontrollable mental checklist of "is that canon?" and "does this hold up to the source material?" I almost always enjoy the movies infinitley more upon successive viewing.
