That's my fear They'll give Han from Force Awakens a great sculpt, but leave all the classic Han's with stunt doubles.

The wrinkles, and general age, gives them more detail to shoot for, it makes it easier to get right. The problem with guys like Shatner, Gibson and Ford is that their faces are otherwise fairly plain and generic, so it's hard to get it right.

If I can get rid of my ex ANH set, I'll grab this one....I don't foresee any more old Han's coming along

Since I haven't watched ROTS in a while I just googled that version of Chewie and literally laughed out loud. What the hell George, did you do ANYTHING right in the prequels? How the hell do you even find a way to screw up Chewie. Looks like the "Rob Liefeld Captain America" version of Chewbacca.

Well, he *did* have a built-in air-conditioner (seriously). Did TFA Chewie? (Maybe they're more miniaturised these days...)

There are many things I'll defend about the prequels, but Chewie being in them isn't one (much less hanging with Yoda!)

I would be interested in buying the shirt of this old Han and putting it on the young Han. That short shirt sleeves that leaves the wrist joint exposed is what prevented me from buying Han. This might be the solution I need.

Looks like the HT jacket probably just needs a bit of brown drybrushing over top. The black leather is a great starting point, but clearly still needs a bit of weathering to look right.

Yeah I have to admit there's just something a bit more magical when you know it's the original Chewie that's on screen, such as in that final scene with Rey in the Falcon.

i kinda liked older, wiser Chewie better and by the looks of it the fur on the figure seems lighter.....dunno, i loved the way he looked in TFA.

I think the face would have to be significantly better for me to consider getting another Chewie. Or else have some really great extras.

But dammit, I’m really looking forward to getting Old Han! Hopefully we’ll get a full reveal and PO by SDCC!

i sure hope so, i have ht chewie (re-release) on preorder from sideshow and am thinking about cancelling and waiting for this one. i'm pretty confident it will be a step up, even if its a minor one from anh chewie.

Usually if they post teaser pics like this means we will be getting something within a weeks or months time of a reveal. I think Protos will be shown at SDCC. PO might soon follow.

I think so too but I don't want to get my hopes up! But with SDCC only about 3 months away, I can see them holding out til then just so they can do a big reveal. Or maybe the Tokyo Toy show in June. Hot Toys goes there, don't they?
