Here's Loki from Thor

It's pretty great, and it would be fantastic to have the evolution of the Loki armor from film to film - he's certainly popular enough. I'm sure HT is kicking themselves for not releasing this earlier - it may have benefited significantly from the Loki hype that came with the Avengers. Then again, releasing it later will likely still take advantage of his popularity!

The fact that the original figure was meant to come with the bifrost casket as well just further adds pain to the kick in the nuts for never getting that figure

I only need just one. I will be happy with the Avengers one. I did have to talk myself into buying this one. Being he does not meet my mid of what I buy. Well close.

I'm very curious to see what they do with Loki in Thor 2. If he will look the same costume-wize, and if he'll still be a villain or will redeem himself and fight alongside Thor....or if he'll have a much smaller part in the movie?

I don't know the comic book storylines, but it seems a bit overplayed to have him be the villain in three movies. And we know that there is another new villain (I forget his name, Malaketh?) so what is Loki's roll?

I think I've read somewhere that there is at least one scene where Loki fights alongside Thor... but Loki is devious and mischievous by nature, so I suspect he'll always be villainous despite any comic arcs.

Yeah, the wait for this Loki figure has been a killer. He's been pushed back what... three times now? But the SSC website says he's going to be released in March and it's stayed like that for a while, so I'm feeling optimistic that he could be out by then.

I think after Sunday we will see a huge push in Marvel Figures being released in Hong Kong week after week. If they are ready I could see Thor, Loki and Spider-Man being released over the course of 3 weeks.

Some advice: using the term "evolution" to describe costume changes from movie to movie will get some freaks in an uproar. Take it from me.

Yeah I like the BW sculpt, its the hair(mainly color) I have a problem. Anyway I am praying that they don't change a thing about the Loki sculpt, it looks amazing in the proto pics.

Agreed. It looks amazing in the convention/etc photos, too.

Black Widow's sculpt came out fine, and the paint apps look fine to me. Its simply not possible to see 100% uniformity when looking at official pix and fan pix, you have different cameras, different lighting and just everything different. So of course pix are going to be all over the place.

Where the BW figures falls down is the HAIR, which is truly awful.

Loki is not wearing makeup, and his hair is not saran so I am not worried. I am just IMPATIENT. I wonder how long we are going to wait for Tony Stark. If we have him by the end of the year, I will be shocked.
