I haven't even seen this movie yet but that is one of the BEST looking figures I have ever seen.

I'm big on villains so its highly likely I'll be picking this up regardless of how I like the movie. Seeing it finally this weekend.

Well you're in for a treat, the movie is GREAT!

This Loki figure looks outstanding! Looking forward to displaying him with helmet on the THOR shelf with Thor and Odin. I know it's 'The Avengers' movie version, but Thor and Odin are lonely without him. And he might look silly on the shelf facing off as the lone bad guy against Nick, BW, Hawkeye, Thor, Cap, IM and the massive Hulkster!

Outstanding. Especially the Pixarish one (How to Train Your Dragon is Dreamworks and can't place who's in the Iron Man suit). I'd love to see Pixar do an Avengers short. Heck Disney could greenlight it since they're all one big happy family. X-Men and FF for that matter although Fox might block.

I don't think those guys are from HTTYD, I think they're from the new Pixar movie BRAVE.

Like others, the only major negative I'm seeing here is the fact that it makes Thor look that much more pathetic in comparison.

Makes you wonder about why it goes so wrong some times...

Time constraints possibly. I'd imagine HT run a pretty tight schedule, so it's like, this sculpt has to be finished by this time, put it out, sometimes it hits (Loki) sometimes it misses (Thor)

I've often wondered if its at all possible that HT intentially makes certain HS a little off. Maybe there are legal issue that allow them to make figures that resemble, but aren't spot on.

Crazy concept though.

Yup 1pm has passed, still no Loki. Hopefully 2pm he'll be up. I'm just ready to secure him and move on to wanting other figures, lol. If Marvel and Hot Toys keep this up I might have to devote an entire display to just villains.

With all the figures coming out, i really didn't think i'd be able to justify spending so much money getting them all

But for me this just makes me wanna get them all, i will be getting Loki and i'll need all the Avengers to face off against him

= justified!!!

Those who are getting the entire line up will have a pretty amazing shelf: Loki, Ironman, Hawkeye, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Nick Fury, and Captain America.

I hope HT releases a shot of that line-up once everything's been revealed.
