i watched avengers last night and i have to say i think it's hilarious that they cast this guy to be the villain.

i mean, look at him! i just want to feed him cookies.

it's a testament to hiddleston's performance that he actually managed to make loki the least bit threatening.

:rotfl:rotfl I agree with you on his performance. He was awesome. He doesn't look the villain type but he pulls it off so well. I think it works so good because he's not your typical villain that fights with muscles is he? He beats you by magic and brains.

he's portrayed as much more of a sympathetic/tragic figure in thor. in avengers he just gets kinda silly (i was amused). but i hope they redeem him in dark world.

Did you see that they're saying TH is going to be starring in the remake of The Crow?

Thoughts?

(1) it's a movie that doesn't need a remake right now.

(2) i would have preferred they just left it alone out of respect for brandon lee; frankly, the character isn't interesting enough to warrant all the following iterations and it just waters down the original and the work that he did that made it special.

and (3) i seriously hope tom hiddelston is getting better offers than remakes from hollywood!
