The figure looks awesome, really. But the head's not for dynamics poses at all ! On some dynamics pics he looks like he's bored or something...

He should looks great on museum pose anyway.

That's what made me think that it's possible that DOFP Wolverine would only be used as prizes to promote the Blu-Ray release (though I also wanted this to be mass produced). Were there any DOFP figures produced, say, from Hasbro or any other companies?

Also, the fresher news on the vine is that what Marvel is doing to sabotage the other Fox-licensed property, Fantastic Four, is even worse than the rumored X-men merchandise block.

We did get DOFP movie Minimates, that were just released. And Marvel just announced a major X-Men storyline for summer 2015, so though they may have been holding back a bit during the theatrical run of this film, they now seem to be pressing forward in pursuit of the almighty dollar.

A body riddled with bullet holes like your sig would be pretty sweet. I always wanted a battle damage version, missing hunks of flesh.

Agreed. I want next Dx figure to be Wolverine with plain and battle damage pieces.......but I am bias

Agreed...I find it difficult to pose my three versions in anything other than museum type poses because the expressions don't fit an action pose. The same will be true of this version but still buying

Oh yeah, what story is that? I just saw the other day that Marvel announced the Secret Wars to end all Secret Wars and there's not a mutant, FF member, or Peter Parker Spidey in sight.

Origins was the first HT Wolverine. Then X3, The Wolverine and finally DoFP. That's all HT produced....

It's always about the money

But then when the cancellation of Fantastic Four the comic was announced, many have already guessed that Marvel can never do that to the X-books as they sell very well. And it seems like it.

No, they made 3 stunt doubles and now a Wolverine with accurate likeness. Origins was the first by HT and Medicom made a part 3 Wolverine with the black leather suit.

Its like the evolution of Wolverine, does anyone know what sculptor did what? I know the DOFP one is done by the guy who did Chewie, Marty, and Bruce Willis. Correction he did Art direction on this Wolvie, so he's moving up the HT's ranks, I need to see more of this claire sculptor.

If I'm not mistaken:

the celebrated KoJun sculpted Origins.

Im Jung Hyuk sulpted The Last Stand.

Lee So Young sculpted The Wolverine.

Clare Yoo sculptied DOFP.

I will test the limits of the suit. Always loved Wolverine in this pose. Going dynamic all the way until I can find a 1/6 cigar and lighter.
