I don't see there being a Fassbender Magneto. Maybe after Apocalypse is done and they move onto the next stage with mainly other actors, then they may renegotiate likeness rights into those contracts.
Is Fassbender staying on afterwards or is he leaving like Lawrence?

Fassbender and McAvoy reportedly signed on for more movies (unknown how many though); maybe they finally worked likeness rights into those contracts. Jennifer Lawrence is still unconfirmed one way or the other.

All the first class actors are still on the original 3 film deals and those had no likeness rights in them. That includes Apocolypse. (Except jackman and his cameo and any lesser known actors...the original cast resigned new deals for dofp but again, fox didn't require likeness deals). But the new actors for Apocolypse all signed likeness deals. And that was only becuase Fox wants to generate good will with Marvel becuase they are having trouble (FF) and want help and Some new rights to do a mutant based TV show(xmen). So for Apocolypse some actors have likeness deals, some don't. It's a mess. Again(or still). But at least it's more then just Jackman with potential anyway. Jean, storm, cyclops, archangel, night crawler...all have some form of lioness rights with fox. Now fox has been pretty cagey about the details. My family studio submitted a packet to do some merchandise based on the film but fox was very vague about who and what is availble for deals. We had to resubmit with more detail and projections then is usually (or ever actually) required to negotiate a deal. We are a fairly small studio, I'm sure if it was Mattel or hasbro or even hot toys we would get more info. Anyway...the whole things a mess. One they made. Bad business. But it's one they are at least trying to correct.

I don't get why Fox didn't get likeness rights originally with these three films. Was it all just a case of having to spend too much, so they waved those rights, not bothering with the thought of future merchandising?

Mostly it was becuase the cost out weighs the amount they would get. They only get a small percentage of any merchandise deals. And despite popular internet belief, thus far the xmen film (and compared to Spider-Man, batman, superman in comic) merchandise doesn't generate much licensing money. So the cost of including likeness deals for 10-20 (if your doing it for one you need to do it for all in an ensemble cast) actors is higher then the amount they get in merchandise money. And it's not a complete guess by fox(or me)...they had the deals with the cast for the first three films. And fox lost money on those deals. So it's not with out precedent. And despite forum rumors the xmen films have not been overly successful. Not flops or anything. But for perspective, the batman movie most consider horrid, batman&robin, sold over 20 million more tickets (not box office dollars...inflation and all that can skew that...but total tickets sold to see the movie) then any of the xmen films. And not just them...home alone, 101 Dalmatians, and 100 other movies.

It's just not been worth it in the past. But becuase it also effects marvel and pissed them off (also part of why they did it) and fox is now trying to repair that relationship they will not do it again. Not when they want to get the TV rights.

Just changed up my pose a bit. He needed a little more attitude. This head sculpt is insane.

Finally received last Wednesday, after some postoffice troubles.

Custom masked headsculpt of Wolverine,
Made by Jacob Rahmier en painted by Bruno Vergauwen!

Ever since I recieved the DoFP Wolverine, I already mentioned in my mini-review, that I would have loved to see a masked Wolverine version, even though it didn’t make an appearance in this movie, it was teased in a deleted scene of The Wolverine.

Happily, Sean Grey pointed me towards the custom works of Jacob Rahmier, who already made a custom masked Wolverine headsculpt, he based this on the same deleted scene I mentioned before, and he sculpted the mask on a The Last Stand Wolverine sculpt.

The end result is amazing,
The sculpt is sublime, the aggresive expression suits Wolverine perfectly!
And the paintwork finishes it, Bruno used the colours of the DoFP suit and blended it in the masked sculpt, to make it complemet each other (y)

Hugh Jackman is Wolverine for me,
It isn’t know if Wolverine will make an appearance in Deadpool or X-Men: Apocalypse and Wolverine 3 will be his last film as the character, so there is still a chance he may suit up in a complete Wolverine costume for one of those movies,
But till then this DoFP Wolverine with masked sculpt,
Is enough for me to get a spot between all the current Marvel Cinematic Univers e figures.

Thanks again Jacob and Bruno!

I took some pics, but to behonest, you need to see this inhand to appreciate all its details!

Enjoy!

Nice! Very cool mask.

lol looks like Nic Cage

What has been seen..... ;)

I like the mask

Nice mask. Change the orange on the arms to yellow and it would look perfect to me.

My idea was actually to get the top of the mask to be more orange/brownish like some of his other comic suits, the camera makes it look lighter than it really is.

Looks awesome:clap:clap

Everyone thanks!
Its basically a combo of these two: Hot Toys_X-Men The Last Stand_ Wolverine_PR9.jpg

Why did they make that awesome yellow and black suit in the briefcase then turn around and pull that blue and orange color outta their ***? Doesn't make sense.
