I am in with this figure. The best Marvel movie super hero character of them all.
Let's hope that the final head sculpts keeps at least, 90% of the prototype....

Keep a look out on Toy Anxiety. They break down the figure and sell it's parts. I found their prices to be much more generous than the ridiculous prices that you see on eBay.

Toy Anxiety

Good luck with that. The head could be the selling part of this figure. Blink and you'll miss it on TA.

Unfortunately i love Tony Stark and this is the best Robert Downey headsculpt ever. so i think i will buy it. i also will be bankrupt as soon as the AOU figures are out. thank you Hot Toys.

1 year ago for christmas my brother gave me my first Hot Toys Figure (Luke Skywalker) and since then i bought 11 figures. never thought that i would do something like that but they look so much better in hand. i am fixed.

I'm in the same boat as you.. started collecting last August with the dx12. I'm at 19 figs and 10 preorders atm.. lol 90%of my collection are iron man armors

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS273 - Iron Man 2: tony Stark w/ Arc Reactor Creation Access...

This is a awesome set and this is the best tony hs by far, but easy pass for me. I have the workshop set and that's good enough. All in for the AOU line, but I will hunt down some of the accessories for this

This is an awesome set if you don't have much room but want a workshop environment, want a great looking Stark sculpt, and if you want to have a Stark working on stuff montage display. :lol

Finally- a GREAT RDJ headsculpt.....HT is gonna sell a bunch of these.

I like it..more proof HT IS Marvel......any questions?

Definitely the best looking sculpt so far, but I don't think I'm buying another Tony Stark figure again.

As an outsider occasionally looking in at the Iron Man madness I find these Tony Stark figures far more interesting than the armours.

Same, while I love the armors I get more excited by these figures, probably because they are unique, where as the armors get boring after a while, despite some different looking ones

I like this. I too am getting tired of the unrelentless release of every Mark (I get why but...) I have every Tony Stark as Tony Stark figure. I like these sets, and the likeness on this is undeniable. Will wait for the price to make my decision.

lol wut, this is so random. Great headsculpt but those joints are gross and everything else is just zzzzzzzZZZzzz :slap Anyways Does this mean there's a good chance we'll get Racing suit Tony from IM2? Dare I even say, racing suit Tony w/ diecast mark V two pack with suitcase accessory???!! Now there's a set that will break my bank. I just don't see HT creating a whole new HS just for one figure depicting a very minor scene in a forgotten movie, given how much they milked the last Tony HS for IM3.

I can't believe they still haven't made a Racetrack Tony figure yet :slap :gah:

HT has to have this figure already planned. It's something people have been asking for since the movie came out. I'm sure it's coming.

I agreed, the last few years, I spent way too much money on just collecting Hot Toys Tony Starks/Iron Mans just so I can be as complete as possible, and I'm not even a big IM fan. IM is played out for me, I'd rather spend my money now to have more diversity in my Marvel collection.

Have to say I'm surprised. I really thought this thread was going to be chock-a-block with "E-Z Pass" pics and the figure would be getting savaged. :lol

Seems unnecessary to me and the shield a bit toyish, but it is a nice Tony headsculpt.

This may be a bit nitpicky, but are those the same shoes that came with Iron Man 3 TS and The Wolverine. I seriously doubt they were the same exact shoes in all 3 movies:rotfl
