Shameless plug i know but i thought i'd post it, if anyone was interested.

I used some white spirit and an old tooth brush, came off pretty easy. I also used some scratch cover polish to add the tanned look on the body.
If your using the same sculpt as mine? You will probably need to cut the neck down a bit, otherwise he will have a Giraffe neck appearance.

That looks fantastic!!! I always enjoyed the watching the movies as a kid but had no plans of getting him as a figure.......this has changed my mind!

Hot Toys did very well capturing Arnie's physique mid 1980's with their Commando body. Certainly this is the best body you could use for a Conan bash.

If your using the same sculpt as mine?

I was planning to, not that happy with the Kaustic sculpt(s). But then I saw they're making a Conan sculpt based on the Arnold sculpt advertised a few posts back so now I might go with that one.

I've had the different Kaustic stuff for a long time waiting for the Modern Life sculpt, and decided to use a Matrix body after i got Matrix so I can wait a while longer to see how things pan out. Your pictures proves that I had the right idea for body though. It looks just about perfect.

Anyone following DChung's Matrix project in the Interest threads will know of the project to do an early film Matrix, but that doesn't include his HK91 rifle.


So ive started to modify a DML G3 into the HK91, using a G3SG/1 as donor for its synthetic fore guard.

Has anyone come up with a good tank-top or something that would protect the body from the vest?

I still have this guy in the box and have been hesitant to get him all set up.


I didn't see DChung's project. Is it a full figure for civvy Matrix?

When you took the camo off the body, I'm assuming it removed the skin tone paint as well, right?

That's the best i've seen this figure look, great job there. This has re-sparked me interest but there is still that lingering thought of the body getting stained. I dont really plan on posing him shirtless as their is no bennet to pose him with. So i guess that problem is moot, now i just have to try and get him for a cheap price somewhere.

If you are considering buying, you should get this one - it is a real good figure. In some angles, he doesn't look like Arnie - but in slightly side pose, he looks good!! I'll post a video review of this one shortly
