Appears Sideshow is not going to be participating in the deep discount business with Hot Toys any more. Have to see if every HT will start getting NRDs now. Smart for them as I am sure they are taking a bath on the heaps of Man of Steel figures, Mime Jokers and Mandarins dusting up the warehouse right now. :lol

Big question is do we start seeing more sellouts like Mark III EX and Star Lord EX with this new ordering method. If not sold out completely, I bet the allotment they secure past pre-order will shrink significantly across the board moving forward.

Which I think is a good thing for us as collectors to help retain more value and with more rarity the perceived value of the HT brand will stay higher if it starts becoming more limited.

Yeah, I agree with everything said above. I don't mind paying NRDs on something that I know I am going to buy. I have no doubt I will be keeping this order.

I don't know if its already been mentioned, but does it seem that his forearms are extremely short? Maybe its just the pictures, but it seems that where the elbow joint is, to where the fingers/repulsor is located, that the length is very short.

wow. youre totally right... shoot. hope they fix that. crazy oversight.

I guess if you " pretend " the human elbow is up at the top of that massive elbow join, you can KIN OF get away with it...

AH cannot unsee...

Someone who actually knows people at Hot Toys needs to tell them about this...

Images for comparison...

holy **** :lol

Hmmm, I may pre-order at BBTS to avoid the NRD and then when November 2015 comes around swap my orders to SS if it's still available, which I'm pretty sure it will be.

Also, those forearms do seem a bit short. I thought it was just foreshortening in the photo, but it does seem off on further examination of the other images.

Dont forget these new armor in IM3 they dont need human inside to operate and can move by themself. so acturally tony dont have to wear it to do any dirty jobs..my guess.

The paint apps look really good. I wonder, in a few years, when/if the Iron Man craze dies down, if the forums are going to be flooded with tons of unwanted HT Iron Man figures going for 1/4 of their original sales price.

Also, I won't be surprised if at least one of you is featured on Hoarders, trying to live in a house that's filthy with Iron Man figures, while the state tries to evict you for not making your mortgage payments.

:lol

that still doesnt explain why the arms are retardely short... obviously tony wears the suits... just cause he may not be in everyone doesnt mean he saves mettal by shrinking the forearm... plus why give it hands...?

LoL, If $12,600 (42 suits @$300) is bankrupting somebody they are a sad fool for even starting to collect these dollies.:lol

Should start with food, water and shelter, then work their way up to Igor. hehehehe.

The armor looks cool, but those forearms, eww. Plus, it don't look like those hammers are removable, kind of a turn off.

In the movie pic, you can't tell where the hands are, in this you can. It would have been better off HT not make the hands and just make the whole forearms the hammers, it does not look to be removable anyway.
