You can request a payment plan for waitlisted items. When my waitlist for the Star Lord EX converted, I spoke with a rep to get a payment plan for it and she let me have one. I chose the dates and she sent me an email confirmation later.

I think another workaround is after it converts, go to cancel it and the system should attempt to 'save the sale' by offering a flex payment plan. Believe I have heard others say this worked, but anyone feel free to advise if this is not the case.

With really expensive releases like this (for a 'regular' figure), I always try and get the ex since it may help with resale down the road. I don't buy with intent to sell but with shrinking space it's becoming necessary to sell anything I lose interest in visually or is not as meaningful as stuff I want to acquire.

Oh. I didnt know you could do that.

Thanks Medusoid. I might want to flex some of my waitlisted pre orders now

:hi5:

Yep they will flex some waitlisted items. But it's not a 100% for sure. They won't keep doing it if you just waitlist everything and then flex. And it depends on time from release and how that order(product/figure) is doing.

Yeah I would be cautious about asking to flex a lot of stuff.... maybe just once or twice

Yea that shouldn't be an issue. Especially if you are a repeat customer. It's good business for them to do it. It's just not standard Pract because you'll get to many cancels and whatnot.
