So...might be a dumb question...does anyone know if the the exclusive head goes on the figure or is it just an extra for show?

$10 says the EX head that comes with this figure will go on Hulkbuster too

That's a great question. Can any Silver Centurion owners who have the extra helmet verify?

Doesn't make any sense that it would go on the head when it's battle damaged and the rest of the figure is not. It would look retarded. So it doesn't seem like it makes much sense to worry about getting an exclusive when it's just a helmet that lights up and really has no purpose.

I wouldn't speak too soon. Unlike the clean XLII, this figure has a decent amount of weathering. The BD helmet may indeed be appropriate for the figure.

It's probably what they had in mind all along having it being disgustingly priced. Get the few suckers right out the gate with the disgusting price, then when it doesn't sell out, offer it up with the 10% coupon which brings it down to the $300 mark.

No the suckers are the ones that pay $450-500 9 months from now for the ex that people are pre-ordering today. This will no way make it to heavy discounts with that base.

No shipping to the UK...Gutted!!!

I live in the UK & I can purchase it ok? There's no shipping estimate available for it at the moment but unless they put their shipping fees up yet again, it'll be $40.00. Collectibles Direct are my preferred choice though, works out cheaper when you take shipping, customs charges & handling fees into account.

2 reasons.

1) Same price as the standard issue from sideshow, so if you buy from them might as well get it.
2) Ex always ships out weeks before the standard. Those folks will be raining down on the board while the standard owners ****** for weeks about how so and so toy shop still has not shipped my iron man.

After missing most of the avengers line before and only have one IM (mark 42), I'm picking this up.. just hoping the hulkbuster isn't crazy insane price wise.

It really all depends on what the (hinted) Mark 45 looks like. Doesn't it?

I must have missed this but if there is a Mark 45 then Hot Toys will definitely make it given they usually do almost every armor from a movie.
