I had some doubt when Mk43 came out, but I see that opinions are incredibly positive from a lot of you. Thanks for the advice!

Well guys, I finally received my Amazon refund for another thing, and bought one of this on eBay..! Can't wait! I still prefer Mk45, but I wanted and Iron Man figure so bad in my collection.

You won't regret it...the Mark 43 is an incredible figure...probably my favorite of the bunch of suits I have so far...

I'm confident that you'll be more than satisfied with it. Like MZ, it's also my favorite figure and suit in my IM collection, which in addition to Mk XLIII, consists of Mk VII, XXXIII Silver Centurion and XLII. I have XLV on pre order.

This will be my first armor, I'll post some pics and impressions when it arrives, well, sadly with my poor english, so don't expect a river of words!

They don't remove. Only the forearm are interchangeable.

This continues to be my favorite armor to date. The XLV looks too much like an android rather than a suit or armor. Too slim. I don't like what they did with the mask at all, doesn't quite look right to me.

To slim? Where do people come up with that? It's the largest standard mark armor so far. Much larger then the 42/43

It's great that we all have our own tastes and they can be radically different and even the same! I'm hard pressed to actually nail down a SINGLE favorite armor as so many have things that are great but I'd definitely put the 43 in my top 5 and above the 42. The 42 was incredible and I love the gold but the paint app (scratches & dirt) on the 43 really put it way ahead.

At the same time, the only announced armor that I'm looking forward to more than the Hulkbuster is the 45, lol! To me the 45 looks bulky but streamlined. It looks like a heavy combat armor that's still capable of quick maneuvers and fast flight. Getting both the diecast and the 1/4 and I can't wait.

Now if they'd stop with the repaints and give us Sneaky (Mk. XV), I think I'd have a favorite. That thing looks like an armor built with parts from a stealth fighter.

The XLV looks a little too organic but the body is pretty cool. It's the neck and little pin head I don't like. If it had the neck and helmet of the III it'd look much better.

I kinda see what you mean about the helmet and neck but I still like it. It might be possible to switch them out with the new diecast Mk. III

By the way, I just finished looking at the difference between the 1/6 and 1/4 on HT FB page. The helmet and neck look quite a bit better on the 1/4 which is no surprise really since there's more detail on the larger figure.

Ok, thanks, I'm only asking because one of the bicep cover was loose in the box. So wasn't sure if this was normal or broken.

Just watched the deleted scenes for Age of Ultron and a few of them helped flesh out some things for me in the movie ... Tony tells Rhodey that he is going to overnight him a new decryption drive for his suit in case Ultron tries to get in, for example.

I kept having this question in my head! :gah:

Let's say Marvel/Disney chose the design for the MK43 from an illustrator, so does the illustration belong to Marvel/Disney now or the artist who drew it?

Marvel. Becuase marvel owns the intellectual property rights for the character. Which would negate the artist claims. But also work product rules favor the employer.
