You asked, if it's to difficult why bother.
That's is my answer 1.

And it's simple math.

IP to WM2 swap out the chest, done.
Mk3 to Mk2 swap out chest, arms, legs, back yada yada yada.

Difficulty is relative, I just made something relative to eachother look at it, 1 part to change is easier than 10.

Nice try to deflect tho.

Still doesnt answer why HT would do something difficult (IP & WM), but wouldn't do something that is according to you, easy (mark 2 & 3).

You said mark II won't be released because popularity is low. And how would hT even gauge the popularity of WM 2.0 if it's not even in the movie? Yet they still released it

The fact they had the courage to release WM 2.0, a figure not even found in the movie, and even Hot Rod, means HT would just about release anything that makes them money.

because of the hype that was IM3.. mk2 was irrelevant as we now had WM, and with IM3 people really wanted an updated WM..

it wasnt courageous, it was an easy sell, though it is still in stock last I checked. but no one is saying that movie popularity is equal to sales, people want armors, mk 2 has been done twice already and sat in stock for wayyyy too long to warrant one anytime soon (note im not saying NEVER) but not in the near future. and Hot toys can only produce x number of figures a year, theres more IM still to be done and mk 2 is low on that totem pole

Well we have proof it wasn popular due to the AU being shelved for a year, and that's evidence hot toys uses.

WMII is new ground, you can't compare them.

And hot rod is in the movie, see

why do you think they are difficult..? we arent alking about their capability to make products... were talking about what ones are more worth it to them to do at certain times...

Well rather than going off on another tangent, I'd say my goodbyes now.

Thaks for the entertainment fellas :lol

Wow, what just happened? Lol.
I think I may cancel this order after all the shizzzz I just read hahahaha.
Nah, the Kenobi and Vader are my real reasons.
Good story those last few pages, lol

Yep, pretty much. Not to mention a lot of collectors prefer more red to gold on the suits. And AoU will almost undoubtedly be a much-better received film than IM3.

yeah but the figure dont got alot of extra like the mark 42 right?

yeah but they dont look right and it doesnt match... its actually a bigger disappointment of the 2. plus MK 43 is back to traditional dominant red. the body they both use is awesome though so Id suggest people just get whatever paint they are more attached to (plus IM 3 was **** and the 42 was a retard, soooo yeah...)

Yeah i know iron man is red but the figure options is also important i think?

as far as i can remember, mark 3 is also a straight repaint of mark 2.
and still HT make 2 of them, the new diecast mark 3 is coming next year.
as long as HT announces a new iron man, people will buy it. simple as that.

Oh right, I see..., not heard about it, got any details?

Its just a minor appearance and the AI was changed to H.E.L.E.N
You can read about it here H.E.L.E.N. (Earth-616) - Marvel Comics Database

I just brought it up because I think Tony will have to find either a new AI after JARVIS is destroyed/altered/upgraded by Ultron, or he will be able to pilot the suit by himself(which is kinda left ambiguous in the movies).

Up until the last couple pages, I thought I was in the Mark 3 diecast thread... I couldn't follow much of tdk5's posts, but I did learn a good bit about the manufacturing process (much of which makes sense if you actually stop to think about things reasonably).

Thanks for the link. :) I'll give it a read.
