The 1/4 and 1/6 May be different in part due to one being a completely new figure and the other a repaint prototype. I'd bet the production figures are a lot more a like.

That said, I am sure the 1/4 scale will look better because it's easier to sculpt and cast.

1/6 Ironmen have been slightly out of proportion forever. They're closing the gap as time goes on, but this shows they have a way to go. Get that gloss down, Hot Toys!!!!

My first thought everytime I see a new suit announced. This suit was one of the most often brought up after the flick came out and nowhere to be seen.

I saw that one earlier, not sure that I like the look of it either really..., looks more like the black Spider-Man suit than Iron Man!?! & I assume that the mark XV is called Sneaky then?

I'm very happy with how the 1:6 scale figure looks BUT the more close up shots I see of the 1:4 scale version, the more I like it & although I don't really want more than 1 mark 43..., the difference in the red colour tone could well be enough to warrant purchasing it. Did you see what I did there? I made a reasonable excuse to get another Iron Man figure..., who'd of thought I'd do something like that?!? lol

Yes, it was in the movie too. Hard to see from that angle but its got a F-117 Stealth Fighter vibe
