more HPP armors?...... outside of Shotgun my interest in those is all but dried up.....

that doesnt mean I wont still buy them :monkey3 :lol
My interest in them dried up a while ago although I wouldn't mind seeing Nightclub... I'm glad I only picked up 2 of the HPP suits.

For now I am sticking with Centurion and Python, even if I am tempted by Heartbreaker and Starboost I keep going through phases of considering selling on Python... my next Iron Man is going to be the 43 (think hes slated before the Mark 3) and thats where I am intending to stop until Civil War... I cant promise myself I wont be getting the fabled Mark 45 though :rotfl

I caved in and grabbed Starboost and Silver Centurion.. Waiting on a good deal for the Heart Breaker and I'd bite on a good deal on the Striker. I had 2 Pythons but sold them due to the ridiculous prices he was going for on eBay. So my collection consists of IM Mark 1 2.0, Mark 2, Mark 2 unleashed, Mark 3 DC on preorder, Mark VII, Mark 42, Iron Machine Mark 2, Iron Patriot, Mark 43 PO, Startboost, Red Snapper and Silver Centurion. Wow.....I got 12. I'm not even a big Iron Man fan. I'm hoping for a Mark 4, Mark 5, and Mark 6 Diecast versions.

if you are not a big Iron man fan and you have 12 of them, I want to see a line that you are actually a big fan of :wink1:

Anyone else intrigued with what the 45's unique feature will be, or the next evolution of onscreen armor?

As the mk.7 could be deployed to tony as whole due to bracelets, and the mk.42 in pieces due to implants, surely there has to be a next level in AOU?

I noticed the eyes on the lego 45 are now following the comic armor, very much like the bleeding edge Armor (pic below) with the nano technology where I quote "This entire armor is kept inside Tony's body until mentally commanded, at which point it manifests itself as the Iron Man Armor."

You guys think this could be believable on the big screen?

While I think that armor would be awesome, and made to be believable, him getting rid of the AR in his chest in 3 symbolizes his separation from having 'the machine' inside him. I think that if it actually was part of him again it would be pointless for him to have gotten rid of the AR in the first place.

Yeah I agree with this...

as for the armors unique feature, I think it will be made from Vibranium to counter Ultrons blasts and I hope the suit uses an energy shield of some sort, there was one on the Silver Centurion armor but it was never used/shown on screen

Agreed but his suits still have arc reactors, and if the 43 works the same as the 42 he still must have implants? Could the result of ultron possibly make tony go back on his separation and go in totally the opposite direction, becoming one with iron man more than ever before? I'm just making this **** up, but man I can't wait for this film

I didn't even believe it when it was in the comics! It would be interesting to see how they would pull it off on the big screen but I hope they keep the armor outside his body

I think what we saw in IM3 was the MCU's version of Extremis/Bleeding Edge armor. There are nods to the Bleeding Edge armor in IM3. I think him blowing up all the suits and getting the reactor removed was a nod to how he removed the Bleeding Edge tech from his body and retired. I'm spoiling the next part incase anyone wants to steer clear of any info about the movie but I think it's well known by now.
That's where we find him at in Age of Ultron. He created Ultron so he could retire and hang up the suit.
