So if I want to be on the waitlist, I'd have to have 2 POs?

As much as I like SSC, their website is terribly confusing and inefficient...
Unfortunately yes. And if your Waitlist converts you will be stuck with the reg having the NRD. Will have to make a choice to loose your deposit.

Not following...

I Preordered the one currently available, so I had to put down an NRD for the regular PO.

But if you want to be put on the waitlist for the EXCLUSIVE, you'd essentially be PO'ing a 2nd figure and putting down an NRD for that as well. Just to ensure if you don't get the exclusive, you'd at least get the normal version...

Since there is no price difference, why not just make it one item, and the exclusive add on would be first come first serve to whoever preordered the figures. Could put in a little blurb that says "First 200 to buy gets exclusive item" or something... Anyway, ending rant of SSC's site since it could become Off-Topic.

If you PO a waitlisted item you won't have to put an NRD down till it converts. But if it does convert and you have a reg PO and you decide to cancel the reg you will loose that NRD

What I loved about OMG was that he literally just posted awesome pics of the figure behind a plain white or black background. I just love seeing the figure in all its glory without a background behind it. I miss his pics very much.

I'm actually a bit worried that the chest RT/Arc on this won't be screen-accurate. Joss likes the circular Arc Reactor vs the triangular one. That's why the Mk VII had a circular one while the VI and the XLII had triangular ones. I guess you can always place a white sheet behind the transparent chest piece...

Despite that, I'm really excited to get my hands on this. I paid this in full when I pre-ordered this last December. This is probably how I'll display it:

Technically speaking, the chest RT in the movies was always round. Only the core became triangular in Iron Man 2. His chest piece was still circular. When the Mk VII came along, the shape was round but still had a triangular core. And since Tony had the whole thing removed, the suits now have their own mini Arc Reactors built in, so shape is irrelevant.
