I got mine today. Very nice figure. Takes some work to get him to look right on the throne but it's well worth it.

When you swap the cod piece out be sure to notice it slots into the holes in each side and it has a little groove it slides along so it kinda locks in place. When you put it on start with the center section then do each side. When you remove it pull out each side while keeping pressure on the center so you don't accidentally pull out the other side or the center and break it. And be sure the ball joint is in the larger part of the slot so it can actually come out. The instructions are pretty crappy to tell you how to do it.
If anyone wants pictures of what I mean just say so.

How delicate is the cod piece when removing to put the seated version? Any tricks to removing it without breaking, other than going slowly with some finesse?

I believe the feet can lay flat or close to it on the footrest but the blue joints in the ankle will be visible. Perhaps futzing and repositioning will help mitigate that though.

Yep I'm in Leesburg which is about 40 minutes outside DC. We are expected to get at least 30 inches.

Well that can be said about pretty much every figure. Except maybe QS. It could be 5 years till another one. No promise it will be better. It will probably cost more.

If you want it buy it. There's always going to be that potential "next" figure for pretty much every major character.
