I wish they used that one in the film personally, I like the GOTG one but that and this one combined would be awesome. Thanos' throne should be a technological masterpiece, one thing missing so far from the MCU Thanos is his intelligence, he's listed as a war-lord but he's so much more than that, he's one of the smartest beings in the Marvel universe.

I prefer the Avengers throne and the Avengers design for Thanos.

I still like what we got in GOTG, just wish they'd stuck with the 2012 versions

I think viewed straight on in GOTG he looked off, but all the angled shots and my sig he looks amazing in. But either one is good with me, I just want to start to see his comic character come through and not just be a badass on a throne. Need to see his intelligence, motivations and dedication to death

This. I guess we will have to wait until Infinity Wars to see it, but I'm looking forward to getting that Thanos, assuming we do

I'm not the biggest Thanos fan, but even I recognize this. I hope they don't just turn him into a more badass Ronan 2.0. GOTG was a great film, but I can understand why Ronan fans were disappointed in his portrayal since his appeal in the comics comes from him being more of an anti-hero. Given that he's getting two films, I would hope that they'd flesh out Thanos given his huge role.

If they don't portray him right I wont be happy, but Feige and the production team apparently started the MCU with the thought of leading to Thanos so must be fans of him, which reduces my fears about it.

The character was pretty cool. But so far I've not made my mind up about it. To early with to little screen.

But I love the actress. Her run on Dr. who is what got me to actually watch the show. I'd seen most of the old school original run when I was a kid. Have an uncle that's a huge fan and when I was at their house that's all we did was watch old Who. But I didn't watch the new till I was bored one night painting a statue and nothing else was on. Caught a rerun of the show with her.

Yea I think so. It's not everyone's flavor, and at times it's pretty camp/silly as a show, but there are parts and episodes that are really good. And she does a great job. In fact she's the best part about it. At least I think so. Ifcyou didn't know it was her in GOTG you never would have guessed it.

If you get a chance watch an episode with her in it.

I never understood that theory, I've seen it tossed about a few times..... even when the Comic Con trailer debuted, people though that Thanos would be in that scene standing over the Avengers. No one in AOU knows about Thanos. How can someone have a nightmare about someone they don't know exists, unless its a prediction, which is not in SW wheelhouse

Well apparently she shows them their futures, Thanos is in their futures so it's pretty easy to understand the theory. It's one of her gifts, it wouldn't be showing them their futures if she could only show them stuff she knows would it.

I think it has to do with Thor's nightmares of Ragnarok.

Thats what I thought, if she just gives them nightmares thats lame and random.

Also, Feige said that he needed Hulk, Hawkeye and Thanos to be doing stuff in the background during Phase 2 which will be explained in AoU...let me check that tho.
