Damn, I was planning on getting this guy from Amazon with giftcards I had been collecting from survey sites, but I blew my stash on the HT Stormtrooper, and now this guy was available for very close to retail earlier. Guess I'll get him in another 3 months! :)

yes!

.....how does one get Amazon gift cards from survey sites? XD I gotta get in on that!

Got my figure in today. Figure is fantastic, love it. Has superb shelf presence. I wish I could have waited a little until I was hyped up on Avengers again to open him, but the box was crushed and I had to check the figure out. SSC hasn't gotten back to me yet, I'd like to have a nice box.

That's why I have my orders packed in another box. Should've went with the pack out option.

Very tediously. I use Swagbucks - Free Gift Cards for Paid Surveys and More to do surveys. The payout is usually less than a dollar and in points ( 100 points= $1), but it adds up. I average about $60 per month in amazon gift cards. They've also got paypal but I go with amazon because they discount the $25 GC once per month, I already buy a lot from amazon, and I can donate to St. Jude through AmazonSmile: You shop. Amazon gives.

Be warned though. It is very tedious. Most times Surveys disqualify you if they are looking for a very specific type of person to give them information. I usually stick to surveys because even with disqualifications, they are the most consistent for paying you, and as a broke ass college student this is the only way I can make these figures affordable.

Referral Link If anybody winds up joining, I'd appreciate it if you used my referral link, because you guys get a $1.50, and I get a bonus 10% for whatever you make added to my account as long as you guys tolerate this super tedious way of making extra cash. Of course you don't have to use it, and just use the first link if you decide to try it out.

Edit: to date, I've made $395 since starting in early February, and I've use that to buy an iPad Mini 2, and pay for over half of a Hot Toys Stormtrooper.

Well, opened Cap AoU up this morning. Figure looks fantastic. Can't wait to get him up on the shelf next to the other Cap Avenger. I inspected all elements of the figure like I have learned form reading these threads. One thing I noticed is the Steve Rogers head sculpt. Seems like his left eye is a little too left for the face. Does anyone else have this issue and any suggestions on what I should do? Would Sideshow just trade in the head?bad eye.jpg

It's actually supposed to be like that... someone posted this earlier:

and mine is like that also.

I really don't think it's that noticeable in "real life," only when you blow it up 6 inches. It could be worse:
