Great pic, shdl83. I'm curious to see this and CW Cap side by side to see which I like better. May get one or the other.

Just one I have up on my IG. I'm very curious to see them next to each other in person though.

I don't like what they did with the shoulder width for the new one. AOU had strong proportions except that his pants were up really high.

The AoU production model is better than that photo suggests, they used the stealth body foundation for those stills! By the time production models rolled around they had MASSIVELY improved it. Don't get me wrong, I like the new model with its darker colours etc but I'll be sticking with my AoU fig but if I didn't have a cap then I'd be in for this no doubt.

Lol I think everyone and their mother is gonna go after the CW helmet HS, kinda scared how much the resellers are gonna be asking for it.

For me the HS is the least impressive part, because the grimace HS I'd never use. The most impressive part for me is the subtle body proportion improvements & AoU figure had huge improvements over stealth.
The pants seem to be in a better position and I really like the darker red & Blue scheme.
Actually the more I think about it the more I think I need this figure lol

I have the same question as well, I think it can, right? My AOU Cap is back in the box and I don't have space or time to whip him out in the near future...

Other than the sculpt, I like everything about the CW Cap better.

The more muted colors, the boots, the sleeves, the gloves, the non-magnetic shield, even the design of the belt on the CW figure are improvements on the AoU Cap to me. That comparison photo really shows where the design has gotten better.

Agreed, because on display you don't notice it, but it makes it so easy to have him hold the shield,
I have the first avenger figure & getting him to hold the shield is a PITA lol
