GoHastings delivered! Received a brand new/sealed AOU: Cap in its proper shipper. And I thought it was a scam.

I've always wanted a cool Cap picture of him putting his shield on his back so after an entire year, I finally did it:lol

I wonder if they are gonna start using Man of Steel bodies on these new Cap figures.

I don't believe so. If I recall correctly when I looked, I believe the height of CW Cap was listed as being exactly the same height as AoU Cap. MoS bodies are slightly taller than AoU Cap.

I suspect (Civil War Talk beyond these tags)
Cap getting axed won't happen if we have a newly designed body specific to Chris. Seems odd to do that just now if he isn't sticking around.

Whether Cap gets offed in CW or not, Evans I believe is signed on at least through IW (even expressed interest in going beyond that a few months ago), so he either doesn't get killed in CW, gets killed but is brought back (possibly through the Time Gem which I believe is rumored to get introduced in Dr. Strange) or is just depicted through flashbacks in IW.

I personally think it's either one of the first two scenarios. Either way, he will be back to life in IW because I firmly believe he will wield Mjolnir at some point. The being able to budge it in AoU to me was intended to be a precursor to that.

I've recently been trying to pose my AoU cap and if the CW one has articulation, which my AoU one doesn't, I'll pick it up and make that my permanent Cap.

Been very frustrating trying to pose AoU Cap. Especially with the knee caps.

I fully anticipate him to get killed, followed by a quick "Hey Bucky you're the captain now!" snippet. Then when Thanos comes to town he is resurrected via the gauntlet at the end of IW Volume 1. That's my guess anyway.

Strong possibility. Or, they could possibly end it on a cliffhanger, similar to the way they almost did in TWS where it showed Cap sinking in the Potomac just before you caught a glimpse of TWS's hand grab him. Except in this case, it doesn't show any "hand" grab him and it's sort of ambiguous on whether he died or not.

Either way, I suspect he will be alive again in IW. I admantly believe that he will wield Mjolnir at some point.

This has better articulation than the stealth suit figure. No conclusion made and the pics could of been photoshopped so we wouldn't know the articulation until we receive him in hands. Still AOU cap has the best articulation to date on a cap figure.

:exactly:

The articulation between this one and the SS in particular is really no contest. Also, in its defense, there are a lot of promo poses I've seen for a lot of figures, figures that ended up having great articulation at that, that seem to be extremely difficult to acheive 100% identical to the promo pose picture.

Yep! I highly agree! :lecture

Even some of the blogger poses aren't possible to achieve unless you pull off a limb and get creative with it. Some things photographers can do to achieve a pose that most owners aren't comfortable doing to their expensive figure.
