Not a $800 computer. That would be a low end computer to start with. I think it takes $1100 to build a decent rig these days. $2000 for a really good gaming computer.

I priced out a new desktop with 16gb of ram, 1tb drive, and an i7 processor for 800. That's pretty good.

still no official announcement on whether they will be included or sell separately.
HT should have clarified it long ago, they were really slow on this.

There's no real reason to announce anything.

If you build it with a decent graphics card, you definitely will be over $1K. But I'm a gamer, so I think of computer builds that way. I was recently configuring, and to me $1,100 was the minimum I would spend on a decent gaming computer. I also see a SSD as mandatory these days. Once you go SSD, it's hard to go back!

I have found decent non-gaming computers for as little as $450, even with a SSD.

It's hard to believe I'm typing this but I'm finally considering putting in a PO for this guy. Yes I realize it is outrageously expensive, but this is a figure I would definitely LOVE to have in my collection. I've been saving my rewards points for a long time and this would theoretically be the ideal figure to use it on. Boarding the crazy train just keeps getting more and more appealing to me.

If you have a decent anount of RP to drop on it do it now. It feels good to get it slightly lower than retail. I ordered earlier this year and dropped all my RP on it got it at $624.

That's right about where I am - roughly $200 in RP. Obviously still pricey but man I just think having this thing on display in my collection would be incredible!

I'm in the same boat. I have a bunch coming in the next few months and Prime1 Batman so I think once his points clear I'll pull the trigger.

That's awesome man! haha it's seriously hard for me to believe I'm at the point of pulling the trigger on this. When the price was announced I just thought there would be no way, but with RP it's at least a little less painful! That and thought of receiving this guy and unboxing him gets me seriously pumped up. Maybe I'm crazy, but ultimately I think it'll be worth it

Gorgeous. I hope the final product however doesn't have that "white dust" look to it. I know it's suppose to be part of the battle damage but I personally don't care for it.
