Really? You can't predict the future?

I would say there would be some people who are late to the party and "just discovered hot toys" and are willing to buy the HB at an elevated price.Obviously, we are speculating, but if people aren't buying it now at retail price because of budget and space, who are the ones who are paying that huge resale price which some are saying will be higher than, even double retail?

Im trying to think of large pieces made by hot toys, like the TDK tumbler or Burton batmobile. How are the prices on that for after market?

Market conditions change and there's a lot more collectors nowadays. Not to mention the engineering quality involved nowadays is much better than it was before.
No one can really say what's going to happen.

The engineering on Iron Monger is one of the best, still puzzles me why that one hasn't skyrocketed.
Certainly possible. The tumble sells for @ retail now, maybe a little above. @ $450-650. Thats alos Why I used Iron Monger and Igor as examples. They are both selling for much less than retail
Iron Monger retailed for $479.99 -- it is very rare (at least in my part of the world) to see him anywhere close to that.
Dead listing. I typically see him around the 6-700 range.
What does dead listing mean? Those auctions are recently ended ( over the last few months ). I'm not saying you haven't seen them sell for what you are saying, I'm simply saying, Iron Monger can be bought for less than retail. And I proved it.
And I'm so proud of you. Now, are you willing to part with yours at that price, because I'm willing to buy it!
Iron Monger had hip cracking issues due to a heavy upper portion. HT solved that by putting Die-cast on the Hulkbuster around the lower area as support. The engineering on Iron Monger is one of the best, still puzzles me why that one hasn't skyrocketed.
No need to be a ******. We were having a conversation. Sorry you have thin skin and can't admit when you are wrong.
Dude that's a steal.... Mk42 for $110. JesusNo need for name calling big fella. And you didn't really prove anything. If you can't find a figure regularly at that price then that's not the going value -- it's a steal. I recently picked up a second mark 42 for $110 but I would never call that the going rate.
Would you sell your Iron Monger for $300? I sure as hell wouldn't.
Also, general rule of thumb -- don't call somebody "thin skinned" and then proceed to insult them. It's a bad look.
Damn... I don't even like/want Mk42 and I'd still have bought it at that price.
Lmk if you want to sell for $150Mega steal. I really want to get his neck piece out for the 5.0 head sculpt, but it can't easily be done -- so this ones getting the dremel. Whole point being (and now we're back on topic) is that I really really really want an un-helmeted tony in my Hulkbuster.
