I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if the HulkBuster was a "Build-A-Figure"? You got a piece of the HB with some of the Avenger figures.

Ive been saving my reward points. I have more than two hundred dollars my account, but I fear that even that may not be enough to cover the NRD.

HA! I've done the exact same thing, and have about $450 saved. But it's looking like (to me) that won't even do it. I was hoping the RP would cover most of it, but if this thing ends up in the $800-1,000 range, I'm out. And I'm betting that's where it is.

Regardless of price, I don't know if I have anywhere to put the damn thing.

HA! I've done the exact same thing, and have about $450 saved. But it's looking like (to me) that won't even do it. I was hoping the RP would cover most of it, but if this thing ends up in the $800-1,000 range, I'm out. And I'm betting that's where it is.

Regardless of price, I don't know if I have anywhere to put the damn thing.

On the plus side, there'll be several less expensive alternatives, like King Arts's 1/9 diecast figure.

Yep, pretty sure I'll be going that route. Just makes me sad, I've really been loooking forward to this for a long time. Never dreamed it would be this big or expensive.

And then it's not as well engineered and you still end up spending as much to buy it, probably more. Very few people will buy all 8-10 figures. And at 250-400 a pop, that's 3000 dollars at least. No savings, and a not as well made figure.

I figured from the start it wouldn't be under $800, even when others were hoping for less. I reckon $899 seems about right.

Yeah, no way I'm spending that much with taxes and shipping, even with $450 in RP to use on it. And I think it'll be that much or more.

$750 is about my max I think, because with taxes and shipping it'll be over $800.

Of course I say all of this, and then I will see it in person at SDCC in a few months.....

Honestly I dont know what my limit would be on this guy, Ive been so hyped to see this suit in the films and the design is awesome. I think I have between 3 and 4 hundred rps right now so that would make this guy reasonable depending on the price. It will be incredibly hard to say no once the pics come out.

If I had that much RP I'd have to consider it, because it would effectively only cost you $500 cash. Otherwise yeah, I couldn't spend almost a grand for one figure. Not when I could get Thanos, Mk 43, and Cap for the same amount.

That's the real problem....the thought that I could get 3 or 4 figures for the cost of this one. That's why I said, I wish they'd just put it up already so I would know.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I truly believe HT wants to deliver this under a thou. If it's too expensive, it'll piss off a lot of people.

Well, I remember all the speculation for the BTTF DeLorean being $1000 or more and it came in under $700 so you never know...
