Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Yeah, it's not bad for a display piece. I have been a model maker for 15 years, and I decided to use the Titan Hulkbuster as my first toy repaint. Even just the primer on brings out a lot of nice detail. Once I finish a detailed paint job, I think the toy will make a nice display piece for under $100.

It already looks better, imo. I have set a friend up with the paint codes for some of the iron man paints that where used on the mk3-6 armors. He makes them in pre-thinned air brush ready bottles. But, they work alright with a brush too. I usually just recommend pour a small amount into a sep container and let it sit open for a few minutes. Then some of the water evaporates and it thickens up. There's other ways too..but it's the easiest and cheapest. If anyone wants the link to the site you can order let me know.

And if there a certain armor you want the paint codes for let me know. I may have them.

No, it's the Hulkbuster Titan Toy which I am doing a re-paint on.
Ah, thanks! That looks like a fun project :clap

A thread outlining the paint codes is in order. :lecture

The Kotobukiya statue that interlocks with the Hulk statue is pretty impressive too. That's another to add to the list.

How did you strip the paint off the figure? Or did you just paint over the figure?

That's the figure after the primer was sprayed. It wasn't stripped.
