Today, I took the accidental opportunity to catch a screening of the movie. It's okay. But not all that great. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the armored battle sequences from IM3. I just don't think the battle scenes are as intense this time around. As for this War Machine, its appearances in this movie are pitifully scarce and short. In order to fully enjoy this movie, I couldn't really observe all the details Hot Toys may have missed (in this figure). But no matter what, I can honestly say that I prefer the way that its shown in the official promo photos.

But under the circumstances that HT has a "reasonable" explanation yet can't let the public know the truth about it (and at the same time, nobody can do anything about it). I am just hoping another toy company can surpass Hot Toys so fellow collectors don't have to bear burden of spending so much money on their products. As the old saying goes, flowers don't stay bloomed for long...it's not easy staying at the top. If Hot Toys doesn't work on their PR, they'll take their exit sooner or later.

Enough nagging...the most appealing thing about the toy this time around is the paint job. Dark grey in addition to the battle damaged look has brought an icy edge to War Machine.
This is a definite must-buy for someone like me who hasn't purchased a previous iteration. It's already gotten tiring doing photography on Iron Man and there isn't enough master photographers who can make look good. So I'm just taking rough photos here. Please understand. Thanks!

可能是我被IM3的裝甲打鬥場面寵壞了~總覺得打得不夠激烈~~
至於這一隻War Machine嘛...戲份真的少得可憐..
在不影響欣賞心情下..真係難以睇得清究竟HT有無做錯拉花....
不過點都好...坦坦白白我係比較鐘意官圖那款...
但係HT有個"合理"解釋而又無人知真相既情況下...又真係吹佢唔脹...
只希望快d有另一間人偶公司可以超越HT...等玩家們唔洗成日比錢買難受..
古語有說花無百日紅..龍頭位置不是易坐的...
HT再不改善對外的公關技巧...遲早會送自己一程..

嘮叨發完了~今次唯一亮眼的地方是上色~~
深灰再加上輕戰損~的確加強了WM的冰冷感~
對於無入WM的小弟黎講呢隻絕對收貨~!!
IM已經影得很悶亦無各個神級師兄影得咁靚....
