I caved and bought this and Iron Legion (which is technically 2.5 Iron legions) from BBTS which includes $150 store credit. These two pieces should get me Gimli for less than 30 bucks shipped.

Cannot wait to mod/airbush add more detail to this figure. It's wonderful

I just ordered the Mark 1 as well a couple of days ago. Price was hard to argue with. BBTS still hasn't shipped it though, so I am not currently impressed by their processing speed.

I ordered Wednesday. So likely looking at Monday now for it to ship. Not a terrible wait, but not impressed either.

i also caved and picked up the mark 1, and found a chitauri warrior on ebay for $75.00 today... thinking about iron legion now... and damn i just got out of hot toys last year and here i am already spending all kinds... i think seeing all the new stuff sell out so much has really peaked my interest... they must have really over produced the age of ultron stuff... along with the force awakens... its nice when the items are more collectable and you don't loose half if you want to upgrade or move on... but who am i kidding, i'm spending thousands on toys... so much fun

I bought 5 of these and made my own IL HOA Bay / Storage area that sits to the left of the Wine Cellar and across from the Hulk Buster Bay








The design of the bays is based on this picture






I decided to use the same bay design for my post mark 42 Armors








I started the process of re-painting each drone with the proper colors but it was very time consuming and my idea for the numbers didn't work out so I put that part of the project on the back burner, but eventually I will work it out.

TRYING to ratchet down my MCU collecting. But also last year was scooping up some older figs to finish off the collection, like Ultron Concept Wanda.

Decided to get the Mark 1 as he's *relatively* inexpensive and would be *the* accent for my Ultron shelf.

So my second Mark 1 rolled in today...'coz the first one blew my mind. Kind've a shame this fig doesn't seem to get the luv, should've been sold out and fought over a long time ago. Got the second one just to have him. IMO he's that good, and HT seems to be cutting back a lot of the time, and IMO this was a labor of love.

Luv the *perversion* of the cobbled together parts, the engineering of this thing, the paint - staggering detail. Great example of what HT is capable of at their best. Haven't stared at a fig so much since IM 46 (not a final display still waiting on my Mark VI which might be at post office)



May not be a fig for everyone but d@mn. Only negative is putting batteries in takes some work - and me 2 pairs of tweezers. Sad for long-term display I gotta pull 'em out again.

You get $100 credit to use later. You can’t use it on Ultron immediately. So he actually ends up being about $150 like bmcd mentioned.

This one is still on my list from that sale. I’ve been slowing buying the figures I want one by one. I buy one wait for the credit and then buy another. So far I’ve gotten Ultron Prime, nick fury, iron legion, pepper Potts mark 9 set, heartbreaker, striker, and the red snapper. They have gotten a lot of money from me because of this sale. I still have a few I want to get. This Ultron looks amazing and at some point will pick it up. Hard to believe this sale has been going on since May.

Not sorry. So much great detail - the skeletal back, detaching pistons, paint detail of dribbling fluid - think maybe HT wouldn't even try this today. Feels like the designers just went all out, even on the production line. Heck, I'd get this for someone who's just into robotics.

I still have a few I want to get. This Ultron looks amazing and at some point will pick it up. Hard to believe this sale has been going on since May.

Yeah, probably a combination of factors there. Original $250 retail was up there too - tho I actually think this figure is worth that. Can't imagine the production line and assembling this. 'Course BBTS is essentially making u buy something to get a discount - but the credit is good for a year and if u shop with them anyway, IMO a really good deal. This fig hadn't even been on the radar for me. Not for everyone I guess, but for the long term collector think this is a winner.
