What are you, 12? Open him up, man!!!

:lol :lol

I opened him up and played with him for bout 20mins.

Pros:

The paint color on the hair is really good. With some sunlight, the hair has some golden sheer to it, just like how golden brown hair in real life.
Wiring on the shirt is really thin and could achieve curves and drapes naturally without feeling awkwardly stiff.
Body is solid and joints are solid as usual HT figures

Cons:

Likeness isn't as good as the proto, though it's still the best one in the market so far in terms of best likeness / figure of Luke Skywalker.
The bucket hat can't fit properly to the hair
Inner helmet isn't padded like t1000 helmet, so do be careful as not to scratch the head when fitting.

This is easily a 9/10 figure for me. Can't wait for another Bespin or Jedi Luke. :rock

How are the eyes? Luke Stormtrooper has a serious 'dead eye' thing going on, and it detracts from an otherwise awesome sculpt...

As promised, a few shots of Luke's water treated outfit. Not much light outside so i went with artificial light which is not ideal for a compact digital camera.

Nice pics.

Good to know water treatment does zero to the outfit. I was going to try it myself but could tell that the material wouldn't really hold wrinkles. Like Ben's t-neck, Han's shirt and likely Leia's dress.

Very, very nice looking! Eyes look like they are painted looking a tad up?

Must come from the lighting or lens. It doesn't look that way in person.

Actually, even though the material doesn't absorb water as much as most of Sideshow's material do, it still helps with making the outfit look less fluffy quite a lot.

So this "awesome" Luke needs a new set of clothing in addition to a new head sculpt? Great. FFS, a polyester gi. Are the pants spandex like the 1977 Kenner?

Both Luke and Kenobi have blue LEDs.

Interesting that one would be brighter than another - I'd chalk it up to differences in battery capacity (one set more spent than the other).

Here's what a bright saber looks like next to the HT LED sabers:

Wth this guy arrived fast. Caught me off guard yesterday when he came.

Takes a lot of futzing to get his shoulder area looking right.

Pretty good fig, can't say I'm that ecstatic though. Not 100% sure why I felt the need for it.

The fig is prob going to sell for cheaper a little time down the road.

Really, really like this guy.

Going to try and pick up another of these HT Luke headsculpts for my X-Wing custom.

Custom looks like the light sabre in the movie, and the HT one doesn't in that pic. If I cared about these things, I would be going after a custom one.
