Yeah, unfortunately the Luke Snowspeeder looks to be a bit more of the same in the hair sculpt department. Good shape but seems to be lacking in finer detail.

Drybrushing some lighter highlights would go a long way to helping it, just to see what you have.

Thanks for the tip, Wor-gar, and the kind words Jim. :duff

Turd, I agree about the detail letting the shape down. I'm a little bit tempted to paint it bright yellow like the Kenner figure! :)

Production!

Choose three...

who took that picture...?

Sorry... Wasn't able to answer that question until now.

I found that shot on Facebook with a compilation of other blogger shots most of us have already seen. I went back and searched the image and found one more shot from the same photographer:

But THIS one had a photo credit, which led me to THEEEEESSSSSSE....!

In addition to having a camera which is apparently 10 times better than mine, this AJ has a real eye for the figure and seems to know how to bring out its best...

The most important thing is THE LIGHT. By the way, the pictures has taken under low-angle shooting,

Nice pics. But he needed to take just another three minutes to futz the clothing. Or just soak the thing with water treatment the night before.

Lighting AND futzing are needed for truly great shots.

What is "water treatment" exactly? Thanks...

I think #2 is actually a Paramore contribution....I'll see if I can confirm.

In case what I was trying to do here was unclear, I've organized a group of head shots of the figure that I think are some of the better ones (note: by no means an exhaustive list, so no offense to anyone not represented intended). I was just interested in which of these people think are the best. Hence "choose three".

Yes. I understood this. Then, as pictures 1-8 are mine, I can't play this game... (But I love PARAMORE pictures :lol)

By the way, thanks for choose my pictures.

EDIT: #7 is Paramore's picture too. Sure.

This is definitely the best shot I've seen that shows off the face sculpt and how good it is.

THAT... DAMN... HAIR...:gah::banghead

Thank you very much! I know is not accurated, but I have my figure with the googles put on hair always...
