Get both! I used rewards and flex pay to make this one happen. I plan to do the same for Mark VII Diecast.

It’s such a slippery slope tho! Get both, then I could probably convince myself to get the MK 5, then 4, then before I know it, all the rest of the first 7 :lol

I have no problem passing on the 4 and 5. MK VII is really tempting but I'm pretty happy getting the 6 and recently Whiplash to go with War Machine MK1.

If anything, at this point is maybe get a 1/4 scale in the future.

I used to really not like the triangle reactor......but it's grown on me to where now I think this is my single favorite armor.

Great pic.

The Mark seven only appeared at the end of avengers right? I can't remember if it was in any other movies or not.

I believe so. From when he is thrown out the window by Loki, until it is jacked up at the end of the Chitauri battle.

Vs the VI is in half of IM2 and first half of Avengers.

Edit: forgot that. I repress most of IM3. :p

VI is the most used suit in the films. First suit with the new arc reactor, battles the hammer drones, Whiplash MK2, takes out Loki, battles Thor, fixes the Helicarrier....

Ya done well VI

It's funny though, the Mark VI does the most of any Iron Man armor, but the Mark VII was the most popular. Logic goes out the window lol.

I prefer the VI...but I can totally understand the love for VII. It was the tank of the suits at the time.

This picture alone solidified my Decision to keep my preorder . This is exactly how I’m setting mine up . I’ll leave my original plastic version with the battle damaged parts posed with whiplash kicking his butt . Awesome figure !

Stark became an Avenger in MK VII. He fought off an alien invasion, and flew that thing into space to throw a nuke at the mothership. While the Thor battle was cool, the IM2 stuff just doesn’t compare if we’re basing how cool a suit is on merits.

But liking suits is subjective and might have nothing to do with meritocracy for some. My favourite look is that homecoming suit that just chastises Peter and nothing else :lol

I think the VI had more innovation in tech. The VII did not have much new innovation for weaponry except for the shoulder mounted pods. The VI had a new Arc reactor, the one off, the blue arm missiles/pods ( I have no idea what those were called ). Sure, the VII fought off the Alien Invasion, but I think the VI would've been as successful as the VII if it weren't damaged trying to save the Hellcarrier. Remember, that thing took a beating. It also took on a full Mjolnir hit.

To me the Mark 45 changed the game with HT IM suits. Once HT released that figure they've since elevated their fame manufacturing IM. 46, 47, WM Mark I, WM Mark III, and now this. All are stunning 1/6 scale pieces.

Game, not fame, haha. Although, HT has fame, haha.

The biggest innovation of the 7 offered Stark a suit that he didn’t need a gantry to put on or take off. Granted, it’s murkey territory when he suits up in the 6 on the hellicarrier, but the crate it was in could have had some sort of grantry in it. Not weapon based innovation, but a pretty big step towards the eventual 42.

The second thing the 7 introduced was the propulsion on the back of the suit which allowed Stark to fly around and use both hands to fire repulsors.

I was going to point out the back mounted propulsion. VII had some other innovations as well. In addition to the ejectable shoulder pods, it had the thigh pods as well. It also had the extra propulsion units on the chest that got him up the side of Stark Tower. Without those, game over. Nuke into the side of the building, NY is gone.

Yeah the Mark 7 was extremely important and did a lot of cool things and looked cool doing it. Nuff said.

I mean Starboost is one of my top IM suits and we all no how little that suit did.
