We need one of the Freaks on this board to showcase this. These are awful pics.

It looks like HT used the same material for the tunic as they do for the cloaks. It's that soft, suede like material.
I could be wrong but it seems to be causing the shirt to not really lay right. It just sticks out and I can't explain why.

I agree.

From the looks of it, the material used for the tunic on the figure is wrong.

I will be looking forward to YouTube reviews comparing AOTC outfit to ROTS. I don't recall the ROTS outfit standing out as much as this one which looks too 101!!

Of course that always helps. But I'd worry about getting those "pleather?" tabards wet -- especially with the material underneath holding water for some time.
I would let set dry before adding the tabards and the belt. The tabards will have a wire along the upper edges if they’re anything like the ROTS one, so they can be futz afterwards. Just put the fabric sash on to hold everything how you want it until dry, then add on the tabards and belt afterwards and you’re done 👍🏼

Looks like the tunic is more of a thick velvet on the figure when it should be a thinner cotton based fabric. The figures tunic has that fuzzy texture to it.
