Would the Present Toys Ripley (Flight Officer) work with Rain?

It’s seamless but I was planning to replace that body anyway so don’t care as much if it rips.

That Ripley body is way underscaled for Sigourney but I think Cailee is nearly a foot shorter.

There is three other possible option besides the Worldbox Female Body if the Present Toys Ripley Body doesn’t look proportional @sabin23.

VC Toys Female (I think this also seamless) or Very Cool Female (a sister company to Pop Toys). There’s also reputable 1/6 shops (overseas and also in United States) that sells blank/used Female bodies for swaps or kit bashes. Most likely that there will be possible modifications that will have to be made.

Don’t quote me in this but I have been doing additional research on Onesixthwarriors. Some of the members on Freaks are also in there.

I think it's just the lighting on certain scenes. They're blue in the movie as well.

Just read the features list you posted. They couldn't even be bothered to add the jacket? Why, Hot Toys?

The lighting in the film does change her eye colour quite dramatically. A lot of the film is either dimly lit or lit with warm colours, especially later during the action scenes where Hot Toys likely took their references from.

On the topic of the figure itself, I'm really looking forward to an official announcement but I'd like to see Hot Toys tone down the lip color and paint her eyes in the correct blueish grey tone, they seem to be brown in the prototype.

Happy it's announced but I hope they fix the eye color, I noticed it was brown on the prototype and hoped they would fix it for the announcement but in all likelihood they already had the promotional pictures ready and were waiting on licensor approvals.

I'm not sure anything from film number 7 (9 if you count the AvPs) in a more than 40 year old franchise can ever be considered iconic - for two reasons - it's a brand new film and the word 'iconic' should be reserved for something older that has stood the test of time. Secondly, not enough people will be paying attention this deep into a franchise for something in it to become sufficiently widely recognized across the world. By the way, Hot Toys used the word 'iconic' in the specs so I'm not solely responding to Slugly here.

That said I wish all the best to Cailee Spaeny - perhaps she will become some sort of icon in the future for something else and maybe that will retroactively reflect back on her role in Alien Romulus.

Depends it they care enough to. The new Jack Sparrow released and has missing paint on some of the hands just like the prototype had. I'd suggest dropping a comment on their social media and also J.C Hong's when he posts pictures of the head sculpt.

I thought the base was better presented at Tokyo Comic Con. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be looking at this time around.

Still appreciate that the pieces of Xeno don't appear to be bolted down. Makes for a nice customizable display.

Bonus points for the new stand, blends nicely into the rest of the base.

Probably not, but if we don’t at least tell them then it definitely won’t happen. So anybody who wants it accurate, at least message them/comment on their socials. Have they actually done a moving eye sculpt with anything but brown eyes? I can’t think of any but maybe just my examples are all brown.

As a casual fan of Alien franchise, I think the figure, HS + overall package looks okay but not something I would pay for Hot Toys Price, well maybe if I'm a diehard Alien fans.

And how come you expect HT gonna nail the proportion, likeness, etc for this character. They can't even make a proper 1/6 presentation of some cult character, and occasionally they failed in their main products lineup (SW, Marvel, DC)

How does a company like Hot Toys get eye colour wrong in the big year of 2025.

Same with X-23, the hair colour is completely wrong.

Also this suffers from the same issue as the Rey figures where it looks too baby faced and round.

The production base does look a lot less obtrusive than the transparent one with the exposed wire they teased.
