I can think of so many other figures that would have been more logical to make than this one.

I do like that tongue action though…

That’s interesting, not very “black and white”. What about other figures with gun shaped accessories? Like say Batman’s grapple gun, or like someone posted above a Joker prop gun?

Yeah, I agree on the figure as a whole. I really liked the show and was wondering if Hot Toys would put one out, but it’s an easy pass.

Non-lethal “guns” like Batman’s grapple gun have been okay. Just not bullet-firing guns.

Even with villains.

The smoking ban - like with Constantine - is a problem too. Colin Farrell said DC refused to let him have Penguin’s signature cigar in the new movie.

Same, plus the body on this HT one is too small. I also think the boots are wrong.

Even if Soosoo or Eleven came out with the perfect Cena headsculpt, I still don't think I could bring myself to pay the $280 for that joke of a HT figure. And it's not something I really feel like customizing and paying over $400 for with all the required upgrade parts.

The tongue just sitting there in the corner made me laugh when I saw it on Secret Base.

I love the show and The Suicide Squad so it’s a shame this is such an awkward release with an extraordinarily limited use novelty sculpt.

I don’t like the expressionless sculpts they put out sometimes, but that would’ve been preferable to this.

I’m not getting this and haven‘t watched the show, but this is making me feel a little better about Toys Battalion “Mars Guardian” haha! Looks like that MM now has a run for it’s money for worst figure of the year!

This is so pathetic it's actually funny. It really is a TSS figure they repackaged for a quick buck. Howard really is on that Sigma Grindest.

Studio/Company policies on what is and isn’t appropriate has always been baffling- like AMC’s logic with The Walking Dead;
it’s totally fair game to show a guy bite the throat out of a man who was about to gang r@pe and murder his son in front of him and we can watch a beloved main character get his skull cracked with a bat and endure him trying to form a final utterance to his pregnant wife through brain damaged delirium with one eye hanging out of its socket but, by gum, we draw the line at swearing!
Kill whoever you want as creatively, graphically and violently as you can, but don’t you dare say the F word!! What if a child walked in and heard it? They would never recover from such profanity.

I know the US loves to honour and pay tribute to ‘the troops’ but they tend to carry firearms a fair amount so would WB disagree with showing any image of a soldier holding their weapon because it glorifies and encouraged gun violence?

Anyways- I think SooSoo’s response about an accessory pack is a clear indication that they will not dare to touch a character once Hot Toys has officially announced it.
