Just like pretty much every release, the blogger pics do a disservice to the figure.

I do think many of these bloggers are getting so busy with colors and lighting and backgrounds... rather than focusing on making the figure look good.

The photos with nothing but the figure are usually best. Or the ones with the figure out in the real wild.

I'm also wondering if the DX06 and DX15 sculpts will be compatible.

This was a super quick turn around will wait for more pics also as not overly impressed by blogger pics.

The hair looks too thick on the Artisan. Anyway, I'll continue to wait for a Jack from Pirates 1 or 2.

I also feel the same way, but I doubt it’ll ever happen. I decided to get this though for the meantime

Skipped the Artisan. The dreadlocks are too big and I won’t display him without the hat anyway, so didn’t really care for the cloth bandana.

Still need to secure this though.. probably Sideshow. Still salty it’s not the ideal movie design, but can’t wait to have my first Jack figure.

Agreed about the dreadlocks. I think the sculpted looks better overall.

I secured a Deluxe through TBA.

I overpaid a good amount, but I have a "no Sideshow" policy. And I don't see prices going down. Only higher maybe.

I'm not as impressed by the final product (so far) from what I'm seeing. But I still think this is a must have... no second guessing.

I do hope those dreadlocks on the artisan can be straightened up to hang more naturally, like the proto had it.

The overall presentation is incredible. Your eyes won't want to look away when you have this on a shelf.

I love the diorama. It's scenic. Complementary. Adds a lot of character. And takes just the right amount of space.

Likewise, i just secured an Artisan from Toys Buying Agent, looking forward to this one!

I've had an Artisan preordered with Sideshow, but cancelled that thismorning and opted for TBA. Even with forfeiting the large Sideshow NRD, and accounting for the upmarked prices at TBA, it still ends up cheaper considering the ridiculous 25% import fees and shipping from Sidehsow to the EU. I finally have no more Sideshow orders going forward, saving me a large chunk of money simply going direct from China. I receive newly released figures often months before Sideshow, and cheaper.

I live in UK , our import fees are 20% so it isnt as bad, its probably about 10-15euro cheaper if I stick with them.. but I can get it quicker if I buy now lol.

They've treated me like absolute **** man. Shady awful business when they can get away with it. They straight up robbed me once with a lost figure. And they made a habit of passing me returns instead of brand new figures.

I'm not in the states, and shipping rates can be particularly expensive to where I lived at the time. They know offering an exchange would be costly for them, so they'd pin the blame on customs for opening my packages, disregarding any evidence otherwise, or any damage caused to the contents.

Ordering from Hong Kong seemed risky, but I couldn't deal with Sideshow anymore. I cancelled my last order in 2021, and I haven't looked back since.
