Thanks for the confirmation. Using a hairdryer or heat gun is usually how I get shipping labels off so I'll do that hear too.
Frustrating they'd be that dumb to put a sticker on the front of the art box! At a minimum stick it somewhere like bottom or back.

Let me know how hair dryer works as I'm hoping that will work.

It could be that whatever regulation dictates the sticker go on there, also dictates placement.

So apparently Pop Collectibles is going the way of Toys Blunderland now?

Paid the premium price to get Artisan Jack from them, they send me a tracking number and
now 8 days later FedEx still doesn't have the package... and they did not return my email
this week after last week saying "it will ship next week!".

Don't f'ing sell something as IN STOCK that you DON'T HAVE IN HAND TO SHIP!!!!!

I freaking HATE these Hong Kong resellers... ALL OF THEM.

With places like POP Collectibles, the idea is they have the figure in stock and ship right away.
No batches, no waiting games, that's what you pay the inflated mark-up for. Getting it FAST.

I filed a PayPal claim, I'm done... if I don't get a figure from Sideshow moving forward I just don't own it.

Gotta say, this is the first figure I’ve been interested in where I’m not happy with the product and settling hard because I want Jack in the collection.

The “naysayers” have a point.

And I’m trying hard to justify the new DX38 lol.

There are lots of things wrong with this release. To add, the coat doesn’t even have the textured detail throughout like it’s supposed to for DMTNT. But then I ask myself, do I really care? This will never be the ideal COTBP Jack that I want cause HT is a cheap as* company.

If only INART had this license to put an end to this!

People complained about the hat on every Hot Toys Sparrow, and in response to that,

The hats got progressively worse!

Yes, there are certainly improvements (and there ought to be) but it's inappropriate that a figure should regress backwards in any area, let alone several, so many years after a previous attempt.

Shameful, but expected from Hot Toys nonetheless.

There's a greater offense taken when paying for the most expensive package. Though many are under the wrong impression. The Artisan line doesn't signify a real enhancement over the standard quality we know from Hot Toys. It's not a premium grade of figure, as much as its a label for wool integration. Maybe a few gimmicks to spice up a figure over its DX counterpart.

But on that note, I'm not much impressed with their rooted hair either. I even prefer their sculpted hair in cases.

Quite a contrast with Inart, where I noticed a significant leap (Rooted Aragorn obliterates the sculpted version).

Though to be fair, while Inart runs a tighter game in the rooted hair department, Hot Toys is far ahead with their hair sculpts, which does factor in closing the gap.

But the point stands. The Artisan brand is a marketing ploy more than anything. For many, the evaluation of something rests on 3 pillars.

NEW, LIMITED, & EXPENSIVE.

But in Hot Toy's case, a lot of the time that doesn't translate to better.
