Finally right. You'll be very happy with it.
As for my Artisan it got to me today and got to open him up and put him together to some degree (I have to pack a bunch up and maybe won't enjoy him until Saturday) and oh boy he's amazing in hand. I'm so glad I scored this version and I love both sculpts honestly some better eye position helps bring the likeness out more. The hat is honestly the same as the Dx15 definitely a bit oversized. I think though the figure looks amazing with it and the clothes is the best between the two versions. Sucks the sword is plastic which is truly sad but it's fine it'll get the job done. Though if they had to go with that why not darken the blade to be more film accurate I'll never know. I have yet to put him in full display but so far an amazing release.

Is Sideshow awaiting a shipment to fulfill orders? Mine to a week to ship after charging, I called, it "shipped" that night -- meaning a label was created -- but UPS has NOT picked it up for the last 3 days.

I've never seen this before from Sideshow. I used to get charged, got shipping notice of shipping that night for delivery next day. Without fail, for years. Their business must be booming...

I got mine earlier this week from Kit. Apologies for the crappy phone pic.

There's not much else I can add to what's already been said, aside from some shortcomings, the figure packs insane shelf presence with the base. I'm very happy with the smiling sculpt, it looks like an older Jack in DMTNT, especially with the eyes looking up, when the light catches those it really brings everything together. Mine is fully kitted out with all the gear and holding the compass, while resting one arm on the helm as I had planned.

Sadly the one huge gripe I have with the figure is the hat. I had it on him for a short period but it somehow looks even worse in person and completely ruins the display, so I had to take it off him. It sucks because it's such an important piece of his outfit, if not the most important and it's really just terribly done. I also wish I could have him holding a bottle of rum instead of the spyglass, seriously why is the rum always gone?

So @Kit Chen if you and others are listening, I'm sure there's many of us who would love to see a "hat and bottle of rum accessory pack" for this figure!

That's odd for sure. Mine had the label created last Friday afternoon and then picked up Friday evening. I just had mine delivered today.

I just did a quick unbox and look at Jack, and it looks absolutely amazing. Already looking and feeling like the best Hot Toy I have ever unboxed. I got that same feel of amazement with this as I have been getting when I unbox an InArt figure. Excited to take a closer look tonight.

This is probably the most impressive 1/6 wool hair work I've seen.... it's clear why the price gap is so huge on this between the standard. No way that the TDK Joker should be more expensive than this.

But HT being HT again... they made the vest less accurate in areas... like it's missing the buttons on his lower pockets, when DX15 had them. It's so annoying when HT goes backwards with accuracies in their new "DX ARTISAN" figures.

Also the over weathering on the accessories. The sword is too rusty, the old metal sword without this grime was more accurate. The ship bottle is way too grimy too, the old one was more accurate with the clearer bottle. I don't know why they tend to do this, get it right before, make it wrong now.

Well, look at poor Ant Man where there is an absolute sculpt regression since V1. We are getting off lightly.

Think they are just doing tweaks to either cut corners, or a cheap way of "upgrading". I figure in a while the Jack re-release hype will die down and extra accessories can be picked up. I add to my figs anyway. I'm bashing an Elizabeth in her "boy pirate" look together as a "Jack accessory". I'll have Barbossa and the rubbery Davy Jones as well. I just need a Will Turner tho not gonna pay HT prices for the old release.
