Thanks for sharing! they look pretty good and much improved over DX15 and the new Artisan/DX38 hats. overall size looks to be similar to the DX06 hat. Not perfect, but better. I may bite depending on price.

We haven't gotten far. Only been working on paper templates to get the right sizing for the "dome" (not sure the technical term for this part of a hat-crown?) which I just sent to him this past Saturday.

A guy on the One Sixth Republic facebook group has a resin sculpted tricorn hat that he is offering, and i think this looks great!

i think there is some Focal Length Lens Distortion making the hat (and Jack's face) appear narrower in the photos vs the movie reference...
i ordered one from him and will post pics when i get in hand.

That one is off, imo. But yeah, better than stock certainly.

Yup. Huge improvement over stock and the price is good. But as Hyperdrive said, it's not ideal. I'll hold off for the moment, see what other options come.

I'm pretty much using a Dx15 hat which is fine for now. Still hope someone makes something better imo.
