When the first photos were posted I was disappointed that she didn't come with the poncho gear. But just a couple of pages later and !

Definitely getting the deluxe IF I get her at all.

Hot Toys has been doing more sculpted hair for female figures lately it seems like. Although I guess with certain hairstyles rooted hair just doesn't work. Either way the figure looks awesome.

why do they have to have a Deluxe version of this figure? Can't they throw everything in and call it a release (i.e.. T-1000). Imagine T-1000 if released today, The bike suit would for sure be a Deluxe. I call BS on a Deluxe version for this release. Others (i.e.. Fett, Snowtrooper I can understand)

I think it's nice to give people the option personally. Some want the extras and are willing to pay a bit more whereas others want the more basic figure for a lower price. Plus we all know if they only released the figure with more accessories for the higher price a good majority would just complain about the price.

The addition of a Sarlac Pit Base or BB-8 unit I can see this as being a Deluxe. Or Rocket launcher “video game” Snowtropper. I can understand. But I see this one as paying more for items that should be included. So Basically ANH Luke should have been a Deluxe version that has the floppy hat, rifle and poncho????

The Farmboy Luke was kind of an exception though for a recent figure with a lot of accessories for a fairly low price. I get what you mean but for the most part extra stuff we end up paying for and not everyone wants that, so why not give the option?

Luke was such an incredibly basic figure that it kind of needed those extra accessories to even be worth buying. With Jyn you still get a pretty sophisticated looking figure even with the standard version.

Pricing is always going up. Splitting off the deluxe is a way to keep costs down for some (who want the basic model) and raise them for others (who want more and can pay for it).

I think it's better to have a two price option than to only have the one price for the full set for $259.99.

I can understand many OT people (me included) don’t want to pay extra for our Snowtroopers to come with a jetpack and a bazooka. And I appreciate that HT is giving us a option for that. I can appreciate HT giving us a option for paying more if we desire to have the Sarlacc Pit base and BB8. I can’t argue that, its fair. But when you include all accessories with Luke AND the extra head gear with Rey and call it a regular release I’m not liking this new direction of extra “accessories” considered DELUXE EDITION. Are we seeing the Dawn of something new here from HT when extra accessories is considered a DELUXE. So can we say Ripley was a missed opportunity from HT adding in all the accessories with no Deluxe Edition? Would there have been a middle point where is you wanted the Cat & cage with base you pay more because its a DELUXE??
