Love the modular rifle with her main blaster as the base. Definitely getting the deluxe mainly for the rifle and helmet. Poncho and bandolier are nice adds but I prefer her base look wearing the scarf on her head.

Just counting down when HT will start selling stands as deluxe. Or include simple $1 ones as SSC

I think I'll definitely order the Deluxe through SSC and then get the regular through BBTS or something to that effect as I'd like two simultaneous different look display options.

I just preorder the Deluxe version with a $20 code that I got from the Death trooper, I was surprise that it worked, usually is after a couple of months.

I can understand many OT people (me included) don’t want to pay extra for our Snowtroopers to come with a jetpack and a bazooka. And I appreciate that HT is giving us a option for that. I can appreciate HT giving us a option for paying more if we desire to have the Sarlacc Pit base and BB8. I can’t argue that, its fair. But when you include all accessories with Luke AND the extra head gear with Rey and call it a regular release I’m not liking this new direction of extra “accessories” considered DELUXE EDITION. Are we seeing the Dawn of something new here from HT when extra accessories is considered a DELUXE. So can we say Ripley was a missed opportunity from HT adding in all the accessories with no Deluxe Edition? Would there have been a middle point where is you wanted the Cat & cage with base you pay more because its a DELUXE??

You guys see where I’m going here?

actually the deluxe version gives you flexibility to pose the figure in two different costumes. the regular one
and the one with rain coat and helmet, not just with some add on accessories. imho, i think it qualifies as a deluxe version.:wink1:

I'd say the $30 bump is well warranted this time around. Hat, goggles, poncho, bandolier, breath-mask, rifle parts, quadnoculars... that's quite a lot. Much better than a stupid stand with plastic ferns.

That said, I would likely pose her without poncho because the underlying outfit is just so cool looking. But I'd like to have the extra weapon, the 4-nocs, bandolier and the hat (just in case).

As to Deluxe versus Regular: I don't have a problem with it. A high-end figure with a lot of accessories is going to cost more, so I appreciate the option of lower cost sets. As Wor Gar said, this one has kind of a lot of extra stuff that's unique to this figure. While it's nice to have more display options, not everyone wants/needs them. These things aren't produced in the kinds of numbers where offering standalone accessory sets are going to make HT enough money to be worth producing so unfortunately it's one of those, "just deal with it" or don't buy kind of things...

Might throw some rewards points at this to bring the price down a bit but I'll be getting the deluxe edition. Kind of want Chirrut too but I'll see how much I like the film. I think Jyn and K-2SO are my only for sure purchases at the moment.
