Well hello there. What have we here....?

That pic is a reminder that 40 years ago, Star Wars was nominated for 11 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Director and Screenplay (and this is back when there were only FIVE nominees for Best Picture).
Quite an achievement if you really think about the kind of movie it is.
Nothing will top the Imperial March losing to the score from Fame.
Williams' 1977 score did indeed win the Oscar. It's just funny that the arguably better score from Empire lost to Fame.
Wow.. and Disco was passe by 1980 too. Hmmm... My world has been turned upside down.

Felicity is coming to Celebration this year and she wants $450 for an autograph and photo op. I would love a picture with her, but that's a lot of money.
What really gets me is that she costs way more than anyone else appearing so far. I was hoping Daisey Ridley would also attend, but who knows how much she would cost. This is one of the reasons I don't collect autographs.

But she's the only fairly major celebrity doing autographs - she's Oscar nominated and the lead of a new SW movie. The rest in terms of autographs is just the normal SW show crowd, the best being major cameos of SW - Ian Mcdiarmid, Ray Park etc. - who are pretty common guests.
